When the product turned up it was…

When the product turned up it was absolutely perfect, this is a follow up to my previous review, when I hadn't received them. Obviously being a bank holiday weekend there was a certain amount of disruption. Now I have them, I am extremely pleased, would recommend to anybody. The frustrating thing is, the amount of confusing information that comes from the carriers system.

The Qinux K8 is a toy & nothing more &…

The Qinux K8 is a toy & nothing more & is no better than a cheap £20 drone from platforms like AliExpress / Temu etc etc. I found this drone to be very difficult to control & it had a mind of it's own most of the time. If you want a drone that you'll get real enjoyment out of go for brands like DJI who clearly know what they're doing.

You get what you pay for

I bought the Qinux k8. Why? Because I'm impulsive. No WiFi no pictures so how can I take it to the mountains? No wifi in the Highlands or the pyranees or any other moubrain range.
It will fly but not far as remote range on my one is about 150 ft max then no control.
Company unorganised and dishonest.
Battery life is very short. I bought 3 batteries. One won't charge.
Stay well away..as the old saying goes....

You get what you pay for.

Gote k8 drone what a load of rubbish …

Gote k8 drone what a load of rubbish have tried to fly it several time both with controller and phone i give up. Don't bother waisting your time and money not fit for purpose. Got it from the manufacturer with extra battery still waiting for it, the sent a body shell instead of battery. What a load of crap.

Received my drone today

Received my drone today. I do feel a lot of these reviews are being unfair. Although controls are hyper reactive and sensertive, After about 20 minutes of practise I did manage to fly land and control the drone fairly well. I Feel with a lot more practice should be able to control fairly well.does need to be a very still day as wind does affect it as its very light.
However on the down side picture quality not fantastic and it states drone has follow me mode wich I am yet to find or work out how to use. This is disappointing
As it was main reason I purchased this drone
:-(

Qinux K8 is complete rubbish

Qinux K8 is complete rubbish. Cheap plastic drone too light to control safely. The camera is dreadful, don’t expect good results. Even at a short distance you will not be able to control the drone. Spend a bit more and get a better drone.

Please Be Aware

Bought the qinux drone k8 after reading the reviews. Don't waste your time on it and pay more for a better drone. They only answer email's to their advantage and the k8 even though stated has obstacle avoidance which is clearly stated on website and flying instructions, it does not have and an email confirmation from them saying it does not have it. Very hard to control but a BIG plus side is it has propeller guards for when the inevitable happens a crash within the first minute. Also battery life less than five minutes on slow mode. Suppose you get what you pay for with electronics and the half price offer should of been the BEWARE signal.

Not as advertised.

First thing first you aren't dealing with a UK company this drone will come from China but on the upside delivery was surprisingly fast.
Good points it looks well built and it gets airborne........ Now for the not so good.
Camera is crap and the crystal clear footage that they describe is not achievable.
Very hard to fly especially when connected to the app where it seems to get a mind of its own and just looks for something to crash in to.
Trimming kind of works but takes too long in which time the controls freeze and the thing crashes (again). It is also supposed to have a 3 speed setting but the drone is all or nothing.
The obstacle avoidance setting simply does not work it crashes into the first thing it comes across.
I ordered a spare battery estimating a total of around an hour of flight due to the advertisement but in reality you get around 10 minutes on a fully charged battery so that gave me 20 minutes even with the spare.
If you want an expensive toy where you are spending most of your time either picking it up from crash landings or waiting for batteries to charge buy this. If you're hoping as I was to get a cheap way of getting into flying drones forget it as this one will probably put you off for life.
Trying to get a refund but if not then it's been an expensive mistake just wish that I'd seen the reviews on here before ordering.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on these Qinux…

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on these Qinux K8 Drones. Being a complete novice I thought this was an ideal price at £85 to start drone flying. I was wrong, because on the 3rd day it just flew away never to be seen again.

I had no control over the drone after it was about 20m away, I tried everything I could to make it land but it just shot off under its own steam and then dropped out of the sky. Lost it over a very high edge and into a very large corn field, it simply vanished.

The return to home did not work, emergency landing never happened as the controller just wouldn't do anything, so there was nothing I could do.

A complete waste of money and it could have been so different.

I have been put off drone flying now even though I have paid for my Operator ID £10.33 and did the Flyer ID test to learn more which I passed.

I was so excited to give this hobby a go and to enhance my photography but Qinux and the company behind this drone have ruined this for me by selling me basically a useless over hyped drone that may look OK on the outside but doesn't deliver on the inside. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT BUY THIS DRONE.

Qinux H8 Drone...Waste of Time & Money…

My wife bought me a QinuxH8 Drone for my birthday believing it would enhance my Photography, which came from Ecom7 Ltd via HongKong.

After trying it for a couple of months, pathetically so I got to work with the mini-screwdriver Qinux had kindly provided and had a peek inside the case of the controller (which, rumour had it, contained RF coils to catch the signals and allow the phone to interact with the drone). Surprise - no such coils, just a plain circuit board with various makeable contacts for the push buttons on the controller, no antennas except for a bit of wire about 2 cm long dangling from the circuit board. I very much doubt that would receive a signal from 200 m away, let alone the 4 km claimed!

The two “antennas” folded onto the outside of the controller were actually black plastic mouldings which looked a bit like antennas but were not! Its rubbish, its a toy. Their online support is none existant, not fit for purpose, they dont respond to Emails and you cant speak with anyone.

I very much doubt there is any GPS functionality as claimed and the "Return to Home" simply does not exist. All it has is an Uplift and down button for direct decent....inside the carcass of the copter is a simple Circuit Board.. no transmit or receive coils. Useless, unstable in the slightest of breezes. No collision avoidance. Treat it as a kids toy. As they say in the north "you get whats you pays for".. save yourself a lot of disappointment, time & money. Buy a Mavick/DJI instead...

The Qinux Drone K8 is utter rubbish

The Qinux Drone K8 is the biggest load of rubbish. The controller doesn't link to the drone properly, the controls are either on or off. You press auto take off and the thing just rips up at full speed and is gone. Eventually I managed to make it land, then no further control was possible. I eventually swithed it off with my right foot. The whole bundle of crap now resides in my wheelie bin.

**DO NOT BUY** Drone is useless

**DO NOT BUY** Drone is useless. Remote control doesn't link to your phone so you have to use your phone, and mind would not go forward. Ended up in a tree. Ecom7 making it as difficult as possible to return, wanting videos, even though they says there's a 60 day warranty.

So Many Rubbish Qinux Reviews!!!

So........lots of Rubbish reviews on this Qinux K8 drone. Here's a break for Qinux: - send me a drone for free for one month and I'll test it as a customer - and the badly rated customer service. If it's what the manufacturers claim it to be I'll pay you one month after receipt. Might be a chance for Qinux to restore a good reputation. Well........???

Do not buy!

Do not buy!! Camera is a fuzzy pink haze, cannot make anything out let alone risk dying it out of sight. If you do manage to get it into the air it will wander around looking for something to crash into. The really annoying thing is that when you Google the drone there are supposed drone review sites singing it’s praises, there is nothing to praise about this drone, it’s a piece of crap!
