Editing didn’t feel risky, which is rare for resume tools. I could experiment with wording and rearrange sections without worrying about breaking the layout. That freedom made it easier to improve the resume instead of settling for good enough.

I’ll start by saying their CV templates are simple and clean, which I liked. However, my overall experience was not good. I had been charged unnecessarily and had a hard time getting my refund back, which was stressful and frustrating. It took multiple follow-ups from my side before anything was actually done.
In the end, they did process the refund, and I appreciate that. But honestly, it shouldn’t have taken that much effort. Just be careful and keep an eye on your payments if you use their service, the experience could definitely be smoother.

Creating another version of my CV was incredibly easy. I duplicated the base version and adjusted it slightly for a different role. It stayed clean and consistent.

I liked how the sections naturally guide the reader from experience to skills and achievements. The flow feels intentional and easy to follow, not chaotic or overloaded. It makes my background much easier to understand.

This is a fraudulent site. Once you signed for a 7-day trial at a low fee, it then quickly charge for another USD $20 without my consent for a so call “professional “ review. There is no confirmation or agreement button to click before they charge you and refused to refund also.

I liked how fast it was to make small changes before applying. Updating dates, swapping bullet points, or adjusting wording took seconds. No reformatting headaches.

BetterCV are scamming people!!!. I just paid a CV of 7 day subscription today on 10 March 2026... seconds later without my permission they withdraw monthly subscription fee in my account from my credit card By name TSFF Holding limited....!!
I want a full refund immediately else I'll report to consumer IT court. I see this happened to multiple people.

I’m not good at design at all, so resumes always stressed me out. Here the visual part is already solved, and it still looks professional. I just focused on content.

I signed up to make one CV and paid for it, and a week later I get a charge on my card for a monthly subscription I DID NOT sign up for!!!! That is highly unethical and manipulative. I emailed the company, and they sent me an AI response saying, according to our terms, we can't refund you! This is theft. DO NOT USE BETTER CV. DO NOT USE BETTER CV. DO NOT USE BETTER CV. I am so mad right now.

Given the similarity in the user experience, payment flow, and billing pattern between BetterCV and Resume.io, I would like to raise a concern that both services may be operating under similar or related billing practices.

I am not making a definitive claim, but I believe this pattern could potentially cause confusion for users, especially when the transition from a one-time payment to a recurring subscription is not sufficiently clear.

I kindly request BetterCV to review this matter and provide clarification, as well as consider improving transparency in the payment and subscription process to prevent similar situations for other users.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attach supporting files on certain platforms such as Trustpilot. However, I have already sent screenshots of the relevant email communications and transaction details to bettercv for your review.

On 9 March 2026, I purchased a one-time service from BetterCV and Resumeio and was charged approximately THB 64 and THB 95 respectively. I did not knowingly subscribe to any recurring or annual plan.

Subsequently, on 16 March 2026, my credit card was charged for an annual subscription without my explicit consent or clear prior notification from BetterCV and Resumeio at THB 999.18 and THB 999.18 respectively. Then, on 1st April 2026, BetterCV also charged me at THB 303.01. I did not authorize this recurring charge.

In light of the above, I kindly request your consideration for a full refund of the subscription charges, as I did not knowingly authorize or intend to subscribe to any recurring plan.

I would greatly appreciate your review of this matter and your support in resolving this issue fairly.
