Excellent software
Excellent software, only issue is being Canadian based, the Sterling Volunteers option only works for US mailing addresses. I would like to see some background check integration with Canadian companies that can actually do it here.
We love Better Impact!
I have been managing volunteer for 16 years. It would be impossible for us to mange the 1100 volunteers in our program without Better Impact. We love BI because it makes it easy for us to match clients and volunteers. It is easy for the volunteers to use and it has a robust and easy to use reporting function for our staff. We love Better Impact!
Awesome volunteer software experience
We have been using Better Impact in our organization for 5 years and it is excellent! The tutorial videos are easy to follow and answer everything. This is the best software I have used to keep track of volunteer information, run reports, host eLearning training, sign up for activities, etc.

Better Impact has made my life so much easier. I find it easy to use. I am able to stay organized, have accurate reporting metrics and if I do have a question, the team is quick to answer.

It is a good system if you really know how to use it which takes time. It is not a very user friendly system on the admin side.
Simple for volunteers, less simple for admins
While Better Impact seems to be the best platform for Hospice use and is simple for the volunteers, I do believe the user interface could be more friendly for administrators.
I am not an IT person...
I am not an IT person, so this review is actually not really about the portal itself but about the Better Impact staff. Really, I could not compliment them enough. They are always so responsive and provide amazing assistance. When the system doesn't have a capability that I'd like, they give me advice on how to work around it within their framework. They are patient, kind, always available and exceedingly helpful. Our account rep, Josie, used to be a volunteer coordinator and her consultations are always spot-on. Thanks to the team! Give them raises!

Better Impact provides a intuitive and comprehensive way to organize your volunteer opportunities. It also provides a easy way to track your volunteer hours and shifts you have worked.
BI shows it's quality soon after start of evaluation
We're evaluating BI for use in our organization which has well over 100 volunteers actively assisting members of our community. The BI folks have build a solution that, out of the box, fits most of our needs. Furthermore, where some tinkering is required, they are able to come up with easily implementable tweaks that do the job. The UI is intuitive and the functionality is comprehensive. And even though we've only been using the product for a bit over a week I fully expect it to serve our needs for a very long time.
Just an amazing ride with so much help
Just an amazing ride that despite being the lone champion didn't feel lonely thanks to the amazing support in particular Thomas but all interactions with BI staff have been fab. A new member of staff said the other day that she loved the system and I have only shown her a little of it so far.
