I’am stil in Nepal and enjoy every day. The review is about my guide, Chhoisang Lama. The hike I’am doing with him is wonderfull and, he became a friend of me. His English is very good and he even does speak some words dutch!! I’ve still 3 days to go with hem and I’am looking forward to it!!
We have just come home from our third family trip with Better Places: Peru, Cambodia and now Sri Lanka have all been incredible experiences. We are a family of 5 and have been discovering Sri Lanka in the best possible way for 3 weeks. Lea, the Better Places Sri Lanka specialist came up with a perfect combination of the “must see” destinations and a unique direct experience with the locals in homestays and local hotels. The real differentiation that made the trip so special was our Driver and guide Chamila Martis who has treated us with the care and consideration of family and has won a great lace in our own family’s heart. We will never forget Sri Lanka or “uncle Martis” and will continue to trust in Better Places to introduce us to new destinations.

My girlfriend and I made an amazing trip to Mexico in December 2021. We were very happy with our choice to contact Better Places, because they helped us pick out an amazing trip. The local expert, Delphine, knew exactly what we wanted (even if we didn't know it ourselves yet), and made sure we saw all the best parts of the country. She took care of all the planning and bookings, and we just got to sit back and enjoy. A really great experience and we would definitely recommend going to Mexico with Better Places!

Many thanks to Better Places and our amazing coordinator Rene for organizing (and re-organizing and re-organizing) our family trip to Quito and Cuyabano in the Amazon. We were supposed to go in July 2020 but due to COVID went in July 2021. Rene listened to our every need and created a fun, safe, affordable family trip for me, my daughter Georgia (11), my sister, her husband and their 3 kids (ages 7, 10 and 12). Despite many COVID related speed bumps, our entire trip went off without a hitch and was truly unique. We will definitely use them again! And BIG THANKS to Rene for going above and beyond to smooth out the COVID related wrinkles.

Better Places organized our fantastic trip to Ladak in juli/august this year. With the help of their very well experienced Himalaya expert Jan Knaapen, they set up a fully personalised and (proved to be!) flexible travel plan.They offer true value for money too.
We really do appreciate that this agency does offer fully CO2 neutral travelling en the fact that they focus on employing local people. A true social firm which is also capable of making profit. For us, an easy choice for the future

We have taken our 2nd trip with better Places. Through their local travel agents our trip has been personalized from the start. We had good hotels and all other local excursions and road trips went very smooth. Even when we had some issues with connecting flights it was easy to reach them. So recommended
