Better Places Travel helped me and a friend plan a wonderful three-week trip to Colombia. Karol, the BPT in-country contact person, was extremely efficient in meeting our requirements, responding quickly with suggestions and with changes we requested. Every single one of the hotels, drivers, guides and experiences Karol helped us set up was absolutely perfect. There were no problems at all! We loved Colombia and hope to return. We had a wonderful one week trip to Nepal in November which included a few days in Kathmandu followed by a 3 day low altitude trek. We were looked after so well by Maiike and her husband Chuda from Better Places, which also enabled us to see the real Nepal. It’s a beautiful country with beautiful people. We are looking forward to returning there again soon.

We have nothing but praise for our experience with Better Places over all, but did give them a few suggestions as to how to improve their service even more. Everything went like clockwork with all our pickups and hotel reservations.
We loved having that flexibility of arranging some of our own transportation and guides to experience more of the local culture. This also kept the price down!
Their choice of accommodations were excellent and being small, kept us in touch with the local people. We did quite a bit of our own research, but they were more than helpful to finalize our itinerary around our requests.
