better u pain cream actually works. i wasted $$$ on cbd creams, voltaren, prescription gels… nothing touched my pain. this is the first thing that actually gave me relief. no bs.

I was initially skeptical of this type of therapy. I gave it a try and I wish I would have known about it and tried this 10 years ago. Over a decade of talk-therapy, anti-anxiety, anti-depression medications and countless herbal supplements wouldn't break through. Taking this leap was one of the best decisions I've ever made and am forever thankful this is out there for people like me. The experience with Better U is pretty straight forward, they're widely available to answer questions, setup meetings and have many resources available to you. This has helped me on the deepest personal level there is. I would give 6 stars if I could.

At this point I've done 8 years of regular Mindfulness work. Consequently I've come to terms with the fact that I have many conditions in my past that have predisposed me to anxiety, depression and social withdrawal. On the other hand, I have always been very much drawn to the spiritual path, which is actually a very common pairing in life - trauma and spirituality. I am fiercely committed to helping to relieve suffering in the world, but my ability to do so as a "wounded healer" depends on how much energy I have for it. My depression can significantly limit how much of that work I can do.

I was drawn to ketamine because of its efficacy in treating depression and its potential for enhancing one's spiritual life. In fact, since I indicated my spiritual goals when looking into another ketamine program, I was turned down. Better U, on the other hand, understands the spiritual piece and rightly puts it front and center. So how good is ketamine? I had a recent experience, at the start of which I expressed the intention of strengthening my resolve to be of service to the world. What followed was a wonderful, transcendent experience in which I became aware of the "Divine Feminine" in me. For the uninitiated, that refers to the capacity for sensitivity, compassion and empathy. It is necessary for healers to have that quality to truly be of service. I also had a transcendent experience in which I felt at one with one of my greatest spiritual teachers, who is no longer in the material world.

I spoke with Michael at BetterU about the experience. It was a warm and affirming conversation. He totally got it. So I'm writing all of this to tell you that ketamine is amazing and Better U is an unusually inspired company, dedicated to healing the world - as I am. Give them a shot if you haven't!

**UPDATE: I called the number that Better U gave me in the response of this review and I left a message and then the next day Better U flagged my review for defamation and it was temporarily taken down😄 And they never called me back.

My recent experience was horrible. After paying, I picked an intake person who was supposed to be a PA, Kelly Jernigan. All of the appointments with an MD were full. When I got onto the video call intake appointment, I saw that the woman was only a clinician. Then the woman was rude and had an attitude almost the whole time. She got mad after I answered one of her questions about something she asked about my most recent physical. She didn't listen to my answer and got angry because she didn't think I was answering the question correctly(rudely said it had nothing to do with what she was asking and needs relevant information only). I tried to ignore this. Then at the end(appointment was very short), she told me about the titrating up process with the medication. I didn't understand it so I kept trying to figure it out, even writing it on paper and showing her since I'm a visual person. She got very angry, saying stuff like, I already told you!! This is right after her asking if I had any questions. So I said I don't appreciate the attitude and rudeness this whole time, now I believe the bad reivews about the place. She said, "we'll refund you!" and hung the call up on me! I couldn't believe it, I went to them for help and ended up in tears. That woman is in the wrong field and I can't believe they keep people like this on their staff.
I sent a message in the portal stating my experience and whoever messaged me back was very sorry and said they would investigate. I also got an email from somone apologizing(not Kelly) but then at the end of the email they had the nerve to say I also wasn't right for treatment which was a lie. Kelly already told me that I was right for treatment, hence telling me about the med titration and what dosage I would be receiving. I'm happy this happened how it did though because I didn't want treatment from them anymore after how Kelly was during the intake. I'm currently about to receive my medication from another company, one where I had a very pleasant intake.
Then they said I would get my refund within 3-5 business days but that didn't happen so I had to do a bank chargeback since I wanted to start therapy elsewhere. Now I see they are trying to refund at 12 business days. I told them I already did a chargeback and didn't get a response.

There was a scheduling snafu that resulted in me needing to re-schedule an appointment I had already done (kinda). I was frustrated, and trying to understand why I had to do another one despite already talking with my clinician the day before.

Kristel was the representative who was just so so patient and was really doing her best to listen as I was being not so patient. I did customer service for ~15 years, with nearly 10 of those years being some form of phone support. I know it's not easy, and have a lot of respect for how she handled it. She listened to me patiently and calmly, and we realized the source of the issue.

In the end I still have to "repeat" the appointment, but it isn't causing me any disruptions or costing me anything. Software isn't infallible, and the people who step in to put things in their place when a hitch happens are in an unenviable position. You can't just wave a magic wand to fix the customer's problem. But you can be patient, and understanding, and calm. It's a hard balance that Kristel nailed.

Overall, the experience with BetterU has been great! They've been communicative, and have provided a plethora of resources as I heal. I'm so grateful they've been able to help me.

The diference between Better U and traditional psychiatry or med mgmt is the level of care and LOVE better u's staff puts into it. Super grateful I found them, I was with mindbloom prior and better u is not only BETTER but half the price.

Kristel with Better U has the patience of Job! She dealt with my wishy-washyness and my back and forth behavior all morning long. She was patient and understanding with every request I made. She was super friendly everytime I spoke with her even when I was getting on my own nerves! Better U had great deals and even had a 50$ coupon off! I could even pay thru affirm. I would strongly recommend using them just based off my interaction with Kristel.

Better u gave me life changing support & affordable!! Now that I don't need monthly visits or daily meds I'm more present and happier! I was well skeptical at first, but the results have been really great.. The ketamine therapy helped me break through years of depression in a matter of weeks and after I finished with ketamine therapy, I discovered the other stuff better u has! What really surprised me was the NAD+, used to get it at a local IV clinic for triple the price, and I’m seeing better results and saving time. Sometimes the support team is a bit slow in responding to concerns, but when they do respond, they are very friendly and helpful and efficient.

As far as the product itself, I cannot speak more highly of its effectiveness for me. I was on dpravato for a while and the experience with Betteru has helped more in the month. I have been using it than the months I was using spravato in a clinical setting I think it is because I can use it at my home where I am comfortable

This product allows me to un peel layers of trauma for my PTSD and also helps me process it through narratives and exercises for the journal. They also offer support teams, music for the experience, and journal prompts for before and after. For me the experience is gentle and enlightening. The hardest part.

I cannot recommend this progress more highly. If you can afford it, it is well worth it.

The whole experience has been easy and quick. The ketamine therapy has significantly reduced my anxiety which was my primary concern going in. I still have a few treatment sessions remaining and hope to see even more improvement. If the improvements stick around permanently I will be absolutely thrilled with the results.

Also the care team has been excellent. I've done two of the one on one integration coaching sessions with two different therapists and they were both excellent. Shout out for Arianna and Hannah for doing excellent work and making it easy. They were helpful, positive, non-judgemental, and appeared to be quite knowledgeable. Their performance was even enough to distract from the fact that they appear to only hire absolutely gorgeous people at better u(this is not a complaint to be clear).

I found this site from scrolling social media and I have to say this therapy and treatment has been one of my best investments yet. I wasn't sure I would be able to afford it as insurance doesn't exactly cover psychedelic therapy as of yet, hopefully this will change soon, but I'm dealing with the loss of my husband on top of my already existing anxiety/mental health problems. I was leery at 1st but after the 2nd or 3rd session I guess the subconscious block I had of not even seeing my husband in my dreams is gone. I don't know exactly how it works but it did for me. It's a slow transition but any difference is a positive difference for me as I was to the point of hopelessness. I can't say I'm cured nor can I say this has gotten any easier for me but I somehow know that I will be okay.

My wife began ketamine therapy with a wonderful private practitioner to help her recover from earlier life trauma. I wasn’t considering it for myself, but for a small amount more, I could also have therapy with that doctor. It brought us so much closer in our marriage and broke down communication barriers while also reducing my anxiety and giving me direction and healing as well. The private service included a pre-journey and 2 post-journey counseling sessions where a lot of the intention development, healing, and processing happened and where breakthroughs were solidified. However, after half a dozen sessions that weren’t covered by insurance we had spent a lot of money and needed to slow down our treatments. A Google search turned up Better U which was so much more affordable, and while the counseling is much less frequent, Better U has allowed us to continue growing and healing without continuing to accumulate debt. The combination of the app and overall experience is well designed and holistic (like our private doctor), however it does require some discipline and time for journaling and the occasional calls all of which are therapeutic. Overall, ketamine therapy has changed my life, my marriage, and I’ve become conscious of what’s important to me in life. Better U is allowing both of us to continue our growth journeys at the same pace affordable. We’re delighted to have found Better U and with the oversight and facilitated personal and group contact sessions highly recommend it.
