Completely Unacceptable
On changing my car from a 5-Series BMW 3litre petrol engine car to a 1.8 hybrid car, BeWiser increased my insurance from £78 a month to over £200 a month. Not in any way justifiable so I now have a different insurer.

I was mis-sold breakdown recovery alongside my 2 Be Wiser COvea car insurance policies for a car and a van earlier this year following Churchill's decision to stop insuring vans.
In another situation, you could perhaps put this down to a simple misunderstanding if it wasn't for the numerous long-winded calls spread over several days discussing this particular part of the policy. I can only conclude that I was purposely deceived by the rep who would quite obviously tell me anything to sign and that BeWiser's (purposely?) flawed procedures make the company complicit in this scam.
Trust me once you have signed on the dotted line you will find that the happy, smiley Be Wiser experience takes quite a nosedive. In fact forget any possibility of getting through to anyone with a modicum of common sense within 30 minutes.
I received absolutely nothing in my documents detailing what was included in my breakdown package (despite their claims I had been sent emails) and had to call Bewiser to clarify the details, yet again more deception, bluff and floundering. I eventually found out from the RAC that I only had 10 mile breakdown recovery when I was actually broken down on the M40 60 miles from home! Bewiser then took the best part of 30 minutes to answer my call for me to ask them what the hell was going on - they really had no answer. I eventually arrived home some 5 hours late and with a bill of £185!
Trying to make a complaint with Be wlser further beggared belief. They called me a day later than promised, from a noisy office (which made the call impossible to hear the caller) and she then even tried to charge for access to recordings of the original calls. Bewiser quite obviously hadn't spent any of my premium on sending this particular lady (!?) to charm school and I was quite frank in telling her what I thought of her. The call actually finished with this Be wiser complaints adviser stating she looked forward to receiving my complaint from the Ombudsmen!
I feel as if I have been scammed and will obviously never use Bewiser again but if this report makes one person query the lack of policy detail before handing over money to Be Wiser then I will have achieved my aim.
Search the internet there are lots of VERY bad reviews for this company concerning mis selling!
(If Be Wiser actually allow this review to stand I await their standard insincere response from the Complaints (or should that be compensation prevention) team claiming they are sorry for my experience!?)
Useless company I have ever dealt with! Very eager to take your money with their rush rush sales pitch, and only to have your paper work sent out to you leaving out the main things that were discussed over the phone!! And try to charge more for admin to correct , please please stay away from this cowboy outfit,I'm still waiting on my claim to be sorted out (non fault hit in back at lights) text book situation and it's been almost a year!!!! Had to get the ombudsman involved as they have done other things that would make you kringe! They are to concerned in covering their own backs when they have made mistakes and blame you,We all work hard and put our trust in people and company's, and money is hard to earn so we trust them to do their job and guide us to get the best protection for our vehicles! And not get ripped off,I was better off going to a back Street broker and gamble my money's away at least it would have been my fault but I did not and put my trust with bewiser, what a costly mistake so please use your hard earned money Wisley , so much more to say about what they did to me but I think you get a general idea, STAY AWAY
