Avoid this store …

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from bicyclestore.com.au. It's all true—bad and delayed customer service, poor excuses for the delays, and trying to get a refund is just frustrating. I suppose with so many unhappy customers, they have to hold onto the money any way they can. Save yourself time and stress and buy from a reputable company.

Pleasantly surprised

I was pretty dubious after reading reviews for this mob but they answered promptly my query email on shipping time after about 5 business days had passed since order and product arrived no problem, tracking provided. Got to say I was pleasantly surprised and their price was great

No communication. No stock. Ignore emails

After waiting 10 days I contacted the Bicycle Store as I didn't receive any notification that my order had been received only to be told they didn't have stock. In an email I asked them to cancel my order. They didn't. Instead 2 days later, I received notification that my tyres had been despatched. This is the second time this has happened to me using this company. I would definitely not recommend The Bicycle Store.

Bad communication before making a purchase

Simply trying to get information on a product before making a purchase, only way to contact is via email, there were a number of details I needed to know before purchasing and the reply took 2 days and not all questions were answered clearly concerning compatibility so now frustrated I proceeded to send a second email asking for clarification on what I’d already asked in my previous email, this was over 3 days ago now and a week in total for just some simple information, what a joke of a company, I won’t be purchasing anything from them now as I dread having to get any possible issues dealt with, so like others have said here just simply avoid this imo an incompetent and potentially scamming site/business and save yourself money and stress

Drop Shipping site. Avoid.

This is a drop shipping site, so don’t expect any guarantees around what products are being sent, nor any warranty support as they aren’t actually supplying the products they sell.

Slow shipping, wrong product, poor service, no remedy

Company did not ship goods, until I contacted them weeks after order was placed. Finally got the goods, and they sent the wrong size and colour. They are insisting on me sending multiple photos of their invoice etc to verify wrong product, and are acting outside of Australian consumer law. They are refusing to address the issue of sending me the wrong item. Suggest people avoid this company, there are lots of other service providers to choose from.

Will not respond to you emails

I have an issue with a Warranty on an SRAM Red Crank. SRAM Website says to take it to your Dealer, or the friendly online bike store you made the purchase from. Have now sent 2 emails with no reply (last 2 weeks), and there is no phone number to actually call and speak to a human. I have zero faith on getting a reply, so I am writing on this board (and many others) to let my fellow cycling brethren know at all costs to stay clear of this website.
