They misrepresent products as new and…

They misrepresent products as new and undamaged and then don't let you return them, contrary to their written return policy. If you expect them to uphold their written return policy, they are rude and insulting.

BID 416 auction’s owner Scott

BID 416 auction’s owner Scott, is nothing what you’d expect from someone in the customer service industry- read reviews on many other platforms and you’ll see how many others like me, experienced his unapologetic ways. He has no time for explanations and continually loses customers due to his inability to have any kind of trust or understanding with them. If you go on the website there is verbiage everywhere of all the rules with no exceptions! He cancels people’s accounts without hesitation and doesn’t want to discuss it at all and is more than fine losing clients because he doesn’t care about people who are supporting his living. All that aside, he can make rules and be hard a** about it, I suppose it’s his prerogative, but you cancel an account of someone who paid for won items and not give them a refund is just plain illegal!! This was my recent experience. After cancelling my mother’s account ( that I bid through with my phone for items on her behalf ) (she’s older and not comfortable doing it herself) because they said I used the same device to bid for items with that was associated with my account that was de-activated long before for not paying for an item that I won, that i wasn’t even aware that I had won! I apologized letting him no I really wanted the item, and when I checked the next day after auction it looked to me that I lost it, and i didn’t have bids on anything else so I didn’t make any payment. When I was called by the owner to say i didn’t pay for it, I was confused because I didn’t know I won anything and therefore that’s why I didnt make the payment. I had never missed a payment even once before. I apologized that i didn’t realize offered to pay right there on the phone and to come pick it up. I was told it was too late and my account was de-activated and I could pay $100 if I wanted to re-instate the account and no one from my household was allowed to have an account number . So fast forward many months to my pick up for my mom’s items on Nov 26 and I am told same device used so items aren’t mine and her account is also now deactivated adios! The difference is in that I had paid for my mother’s items already through etransfer with auto deposit. So he has my money. And I have no product!
He tells me that I will get it tomorrow ( the next day), and walks away angry and belligerent. I said that he needs to give me my refund or something to say that I’m owed the refund as he has deposited money and I have nothing. He said I had trust, that all I get! I was not going to trust a man that just treated me the way he did so I insisted, and said I wasn’t leaving without my refund.
All he had to do was etransfer me my refund and I’d be on my way. But he is a narcissistic power monger, and stuck to no paperwork for refund and no given refund- told me I could leave and get it tomorrow or stay and sue him to get my money! So I left! We wrote an honest review of how he treated us, and received a nasty vulgar reply via email calling us names and indicating that now because we wrote this review, we would definitely have to sue him because he wasn’t going to pay us after the review we wrote!!! I have email threats of physical removal for me and my husband.
He couldn’take the truth that is the common denominator in the majority of the reviews who all see him in the same manner, a rude his way or the highway, controlling little man.
I tried on other platforms to release screenshots of the nasty language that he (called me and my husband) as well as how irate he got about the review. But because of how bad it was, I am lNow I’m on day 3, still no refund! Virtually the owner has stolen my money so beware!
