The amount of washing up liquid in the bottle was less than half full. I was disappointed in the washing up action.

I like the products and the ethos. However contacting you is extremely difficult. This is the only reason I’ve given your 2 stars

THE BEST! This powder gets clothes really clean at 30 degrees. They look and feel lovely and clean even with an eco machine that hardly uses any water.

The lavender smell is super strong in the packet. I don't find this translates to the laundry although it does have a lovely fresh and clean smell when finished.

I really needed this product as the eco brands I have been using are no longer cutting the mustard sadly so THANK GOD this has come along!

I had wanted a toilet bomb/cleaner that did not have the dead fish symbol on it, but that also worked. The Bide toilet bombs are brilliant. And I know they are not harmful to our precious water systems.

I have had a great experience with these products, no nasty toxic after smell lingering and getting on the back of my throat and lungs.
The products work very well, used the washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, toilet scrub, toilet bombs.
The best thing is no nasty headaches when cleaning with these products together with knowing I am helping the planet and people.

So disappointed. We thought these products would be the answer to our problems, sadly they are not. The dishwasher powder didn't leave things clean, especially stains on mugs. The washing up liquid needs a lot more than my usual one to clean. The washing powder is ok, but is such a fine powder it flies up into the room and badly effects my lungs. The toilet products also make me choke from the fine dust that flies up. They clean to a degree but don't remove the water line.

So disappointed because we wanted to support a small business doing good things for the planet, but it's not so good for the planet it you have to do the job again or use so much.

So far I have tried the dishwasher powder & the toilet bombs. The dishwasher is great & cleaned the crockery beautifully. I live in a hard water area & used 3 tsp of powder. The result surpassed my expectations.

The toilet bombs I left in the toilet bowl overnight, then used a toilet brush in the morning. The scent is divine in the bag but is much more subtle when used. I see them as a top-up to the weekly toilet scrub.

So far I am impressed. I have been a green product user for decades & can honestly say that the dishwasher powder fairs better than a lot I have used.

I really wanted to love the products because of their sustainability and ethical standpoint BUT the dishwasher powder doesn't clean. I have tried increasing the quantities, but that just leaves a horrible residue and the dishes still aren't clean. Every time I have used it I have had to handwash a large portion of the load.
I also tried the toilet bombs. These don't do anything at all really.

I bought a starter "Dragons' box" sample of Bide products. This is my experience so far:
Washing-up liquid: The pump supplied with the bottle didn't work - hopefully they will be able to replace it. The washing-up liquid itself was much better than I expected, getting the dishes clean and lasting a long time. I intend to use it instead of my regular dishwasher detergent now.

Laundry powder:
This also worked better than I expected. However, for heavy stains (e.g. a muddy bedcover that the dog lies on) it isn't as good as our regular biological detergent. I intend to use it for less heavily soiled items, however.

Toilet scrub:
I am baffled as to why this contains both citric acid and bicarbonate. Acids are good for dissolving certain kinds of dirt, and for removing limescale. Alkalis such as bicarbonate are good for other kinds of stains. However, if you mix them together they neutralise each other (in the case of bicarbonate producing carbon dioxide gas in the process, which fizzes impressively but doesn't achieve anything). From the list of ingredients I would expect the final mixture to be slightly alkaline, so over all not very useful against limescale. The powder doesn't contain any detergent and when I scrub round the bowl it doesn't wet the surface. I tried adding a small quantity of Bide laundry powder to the mix, which solved that particular problem. Otherwise it seems to work. We have a septic tank, and as this is basically a fermentation device I don't want to use bleach in the toilets (or anywhere else if possible) which would kill the bacteria in the tank and prevent it from working properly. The effluent from the tank (which is supposed to be clear and environmentally safe) discharges into a small lake. I will continue to use the Bide cleaner, therefore, even if it isn't perfect.

Toilet bombs: I really don't see the point of these. They fizz in the bowl but they don't seem to have much cleaning power, and I doubt if they dissolve limescale.

I would think that it might be better to offer separate toilet descaler (based on citric acid) and cleaner (based on bicarbonate) as they would be much more effect on their own than mixed.

Just subscribed to use the laundry powder, it’s excellent! The tori key cleaning is also great. Takes a little longer to arrive than I’d like but really great.

Received toilet bombs which stated lavender and eucalyptus, however they smelt like nothing and didn’t clean my toilet either
Expensive useless product

Unfortunately I haven't had a good experience with Bide. My order took nearly 3 weeks to arrive, which was made clear due to the influx of orders, however once it finally arrived it was missing items. After emailing twice to query this I've had no reply even though I get plenty of promotional emails. I also thought I was getting wash powder with my order but after checking it didn't actually come with the box I'd ordered even though it is pictured on the website so it's a bit confusing. I tried to affiliate for the company after loving their pitch on Dragons Den, again was met with problems, friends and family not being able to access the site properly so unable to order. No explanation or replies to messages. Just very disappointed really as the products really are very good and the packaging is great but the experience has just put me off ordering again.

After my last 4 star review because of the slow delivery and poor packaging i ordered again, well i have to say Bide definitely listened. My order took just 2 days and was packaged up so carefully. I absolutely love these products. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to what your customers say. I will definitely be staying with you!

Excellent service from Bide - first box went missing through no fault of theirs and they have replaced with with another. Products all smell great. Haven't cleaned with them yet, but so far very impressed with service and ethos.

I Like the philosophy of how the products are made using local people to make the products.
Not all items are labelled with the contents in the pouches.
