Very reliable

Very reliable, has never missed me a snipe (as long I am the highest bidder at the time the snipe occurs, of course) and has saved me some money. I wish there was a less costly way to fund it, currently $36 for pro, but the amount it costs to pay for the service is more than I actually save by sniping on eBay (but I am a student without much money to spend).

Support Team has consistently answered…

Support Team has consistently answered every reported problem and worked promptly to resolve the issues. Oft times errors encountered are caused by changes eBay makes without notifying vendors that tie-in to their system. Support Team is very responsive to fixing these when they occur.

They are also very receptive to ideas for improving the service for users.

In the past I have subscribed to three or four different providers, and BidSlammer, for me, is the best by far.

Great app to snipe bids in ebay

Great app to snipe bids in ebay. Ive used it over the last few months and its saved me a fortune. If i bid too early, it shows interest in the item and there's a bidding war between me and everyone else.
Using bid slammer i show interest in the last few seconds and the original bidder doesn't have time to put in a rival manual bid.
Ive only missed out on items due to me putting in low bids and the original bidder put in a higher automatic bid in the first place.

Great product!

Great product! I use it a lot. It's very helpful. Team is always responsive whenever there's an issue. Makes using eBay much easier.

I have used Bidslammer for over a year…

I have used Bidslammer for over a year and I'm very happy using it. I think it is great value, and I trust that the bid will go through. I often have 100+ bids going in the same day. If I didn't think I received good value, or I was worried my bids wouldn't go through, I would be on another platform.

Some users encountered this error, but not everyone, which made it tricky to track down. We believe it happened because browsers were caching an older version of our JavaScript after a recent update. EDIT: Several users have reported that clearing their browser cache solved the problem.

We’ve sent you a login link to help get you back up and running. When you have a moment, could you reply to our email and let us know if everything is working for you? We’d love to make sure you’re all set. We also refunded your payment and also left a large amount of premium service for you.

Have I been 'Locked Out?'

Recently this 'service' has gone 'offline' (at the worst possible times for me) and come back on, (for maintenance). As of today they have been 'offline' (for maintenance) for three days (and counting). I agree with M. Collier's review, but I differ in that I have 'loaded' my account with money for them to take a percentage when using the 'less than 10 seconds' facility), and my account balance stands at a healthy 1000 points ($10) but when I attempt to log in all I get is " Whoops!
We seem to have hit a snag. Please try again later.. "
I could not connect with Bidslammer to get assistance but they saw this review and their response was ‘positive’. They have identified the problem and some human error as involved which they acknowledged (I was impressed). They apologised and offered me a new link, AND refunded my last payment and included a ‘credit’. I couldn’t have asked for more. I do hope the problem is resolved and will not recur.

Supposedly a "free" service (one snipe at a time)

Supposedly a "free" service (one snipe at a time), and I have used Bidslammer as such, within that constraint, for several months, and found it reliable within the documented constraints (hence two stars, instead of one star).

But today (the date of this review), Bidslammer simply quit being "available" to me. When I attempt to browse to the site using my customary browser, I get a "Woops, we seem to have hit a snag" error page. Browse from a different system, or simply a different browser on the same system, and lo-and-behold the site is up. Use an online up/down checker, and it is also found to be up.

Try to log in from a different browser/system, and the login process spins forever. Attempt to recover my password from a different browser/system, and the recovery process spins forever. It knows immediately if I enter an invalid login name. Only the correct login name and password (or a password recovery request) generate this locking behavior. "Denial of service" sort of methodology.

So, while it is claimed that the service is "free"... there seems to be an undocumented "feature" or constraint that in reality, the service is "only free for a while". Once you have used it as "free" for long enough, consistent with the documented constraints, Bidslammer appears to blacklist the user. This "feature" of the service (blacklisting "free" use after a period of time) is NOT documented.

Yes, I was using Bidslammer for free, so I doubt a "fraud in the inducement" allegation would stick. Nevertheless, as a matter of personal opinion, I consider this deceptive.

This begs the question: what other undocumented "features" (which could kick in without warning, in a way that could be construed as "denial of service") might this service provider suddenly impose, without warning? What risk is entailed in paying for a service that operates this way?

And if this is indeed due to an error of some kind (as unlikely as that seems), not a blacklisting policy on the part of Bidslammer, I would have to consider Bidslammer unreliable... you may find yourself suddenly/randomly (versus selectively/deliberately) unable to log in, recover your password, or make use of the Bidslammer service in any other way. Again, I would consider this an undue risk for a paying customer.

I cannot recommend Bidslammer. I would recommend seeking a different solution.

Absolute con!

Absolute con!

I paid for this service, they never submitted my bids, and then fought with me for weeks on PayPal and gave me every excuse under the sun to not refund me. They came up with a new excuse every time. Never got my money back because I never escalated the dispute. Don't pay for their service!!!!

Automated payment, refund requested, no reply and account blocked

Not happy with this company. I have been a loyal customer for a long time.
Basically, they took an automated payment. It was taken without any prior notice so I cancelled the automated payment and politely requested a refund.
I have not received any reply in the past two weeks AND my account is now blocked. So, I have the worst of all worlds. I have paid, no refund, yet cannot access the service that I have paid for.
This is despicable practice business.
