Easy access to all items in the cabin. Written rules
were easy to follow. The Cool Cabin people were
very helpful and kind! It would of been nice to have cable TV for the World Series!

Connected throughout the stay!
I love this cabin because of the warm welcome it provided! Our family remained connected throughout the stay and that is my goal for this weekend getaway! It gets really cold at night (at this time of stay) so do not forget to get the portable heaters available in the Master's closet (because we did, lol). We will definitely come back. The pictures does not do justice in Expedia or Booking.com, I love this cabin!

Robinson's Roost cabin is a relaxing getaway
Robinson's Roost cabin was a cozy, thoughtfully well-appointed home base for a lovely fall foliage week in Big Bear.
We especially appreciated the quiet, neighborhood, early and late sunlight drenching the living and dining areas, wi-fi and smart TV and an easy-to-navigate, functional kitchen, which allowed us to stay in...and relax!

Beware of the king bed
The "place" was cool -- pretty much as expected. However, the king bed mattress is HORRIBLE. My wife had to hold on from falling all night because her side of the bed was so lopsided. They need to replace that mattress pronto.
The only other thing was that the ice maker didn't work in the fridge.

I loved our experience
I loved our experience! I do want to mention that we specifically chose this place because of the hot tub and we weren’t able to use it. We waited about 2 hours for it to heat up and I wouldn’t. We found out too late that it takes a long time to heat up.

This was a house to stay at
This was a house to stay at for the weekend. There was nothing "cool" or "cabin" about it. Parking is for 2 small cars maybe, our one truck barely fit in the driveway. The house has a huge yard with a long fence in front along the street that we could have parked along except all of the space was taken by other neighbor's cars the whole weekend (4 cars worth in front of this house!). The fence had a broken area that my dog climbed right through so beware. The house was very spacious inside with 3 nice bedrooms. The bedrooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were not completely clean (countertops, towels, showers- yes. Floors and walls-no). Shower head coming loose from the wall. Large kitchen with appliances and all you need, but floors were sticky when we walked on it. Living room carpet was filthy with dark stains. There were 6 remotes for the living room TV, with no instructions. Lots of places to sit and sofa was a comfortable recliner style. Leftover beer cans in backyard. Spa latches were broken. Spa did work as far as water was hot, but lights and jets did not work. This was the worst property I have stayed at through CoolCabins and would not recommend unless you just need a house to stay at for the weekend.
