The beanbag comes unfilled, just an empty cover and a huge sack of styrofoam balls. Impossible to get them all in the cover, so chair is saggy and a disastrous mess of balls everywhere, there are better companies out there who will send you a completed chair, don't use this one.

Got myself Highback Bean Bag Chair. On the picture you see a nice pc of furniture, all you get is a sack of styrofoam balls and velvet sack to fill in. Now I have full house of styrofoam balls that cannot be even vacuumed. And what got in the vauucm cannot get out. I'm furius, my wife is fuming, our house is total mess!!! And all I got is some shapless sack, totally useless for 130e! Going into rubish together with styrfoam. Stay away from this company!

These guys have got me out of a real mess, “ thank you sooo much”, I got scammed with a totally different company and couldn’t afford another 1000 euros, so long story short I had to recycle and upgrade an old chair in the shed and make it into a kinda chaise longue, and then I absolutely messed up the order! The lady corrected it for me this morning over the phone, I recommend them tnx

Misleading. The “three seater” couch is very small, both short and very narrow. I wouldn’t have spent the hundreds on it had I known how tiny it was. It also ships from the Uk and not Ireland, meaning it got caught in customs and took longer even though I paid for express delivery. Additionally one of the filling bags was ripped, resulting in a huge mess. I don’t understand the benefit of shipping the filling separately from the cover - it arrived in three massive boxes anyway. The only reason for the extra star is because the cover (teal) is pretty.

The reason for the 1 star is the fact the beanbag arrives UNFILLED. I spent nearly £100 on a beanbag and footstool that I had to fill myself. Where on the website or any of the email comms does it tell you that you have to do this? I thought it would be sensible to do this in the garden with my husbands help - until one of us moved and then there were 1000s of tiny polystyrene balls all over the grass. So we moved into the kitchen - the same thing happened again. I have just spent an hour sweeping and vacuuming. I had to vacuum the grass as there was no other way to clear them up - so now my neighbours must think I've completely lost the plot. Very frustrating and disappointing. I think you need to reconsider your policy on making customers pay a fair whack and then have to fill the beanbag themselves.

Shipping these bags unfilled is the absolute worst idea ever. We just finished one bag and there is such a mess we'll send the second back and ask for a refund.
The small synthetic balls either roll away everywhere or get stuck to you by static electricity. We had to clean and vacuum for ages to make it safe for kids and pets. An absolute disaster. Seriously how thought this was a good idea

Would not recommend this company. The kids bean bags are tiny and not suitable at all for my 2nyear old. We also received the wrong colour. The customer service is incredibly bad. You cannot get through by phone or email. I had to use Messenger . We finally received our replacement order to discover that the stitching on the bag hadn't been finished and the beans wouldn't start inside. I have contacted customer services who confirmed they will send out a replacement bean bag. I wonder how long we will be waiting this time. This was supposed to be a Christmas present. So that will give you an idea of the timeline

Its bad! We got the child sofa bean bag at a big discount @€149 reduced from €259.00. I have a 3 year old and expected a semi decent sized sofa. It is tiny, even the 3 year old is rolling off it, as its literally 5 or 6 inches high off the floor and saps forward when the child tries to sit in it and she slips off at the front. For a reduction at €150 I would expect a larger sofa. I measured it as per the measurements on the website and granted enough, they tally up, but we did not expect a teeny weeney sofa that flops at every opportunity. Big Bertha is microscopic Bertha at an extortionate price considering this was on a special offer. (Originally €249.00!!!)
Good quality fabric on the outer layer, but ridiculous pricing for a bag of beans and a fabric skin not big enough for a child at 3.

I wanted to buy a teal velvet foot rest to match my velvet swivel chair and I came across this site. Very impressed with the selection and I decided to order their large memory foam foot rest in teal (Was discounted down to €99 with a discount to use for free delivery) I do think some of their stuff is quite expensive and I still think €99 is pricy for a foot rest but I received it today and it's great quality and it's very well made. Looks great with the chair and the colour is beautiful. Very happy with it. If I had the space in our house I'd probably invest in one of their bean bag chairs as they look amazing. I ordered this last Wed and received today so very quick delivery from the UK to Ireland. I'd definitely recommend them.

We have purchased beanbags on 2 occasions from bigberthaoriginal.ie and have been completely satisfied on both occasions.

August 2020 we purchased 2 'highbacks' for use in our kids playroom. These arrived quickly, I filled them both on my own (vacuum was needed after but not for much) and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these.

We ordered another corduroy 'highback' in November as we felt a 3rd would compliment the other 2 in the playroom. Once again, delivery was fast and filling it was no problem. The corduroy design is class as well.

One thing to note, we Airbnb our home so the first 2 beanbags we purchased were used by a few different visitors kids. Even with this extra use, they hold up great and still look perfect.

Big Bertha were good enough to send us out an extra box of beads as well at no charge! This was great as obviously the beanbags do need an occasional 'topping' up.

To summarise, the bean bags are good quality and a good price. Big Bertha are great to deal with as well. I would highly recommend!

We will definitely be getting another 1 or 2 in the near future again!
