An opaque mess with the threat of a deadline
Ok call me old fashioned but nowhere does it explicitly spell out that I will not be charged exit fees if I stay with British gas on aanother and nowhere does it actually spell out what the exit fees are in any legally binding form until AFTER I sign up to the switch, this is by far not the sort of contract I wish to be entering in to.Yes I know I can cancel but it is not the sort of grief and hassle I wish in my life to bring upon my self ,for such a small predicted saving, achieved by tinkering with standing charges and kWh/cubic meters etc ,how can the standing charge differ from the usual British Gas tariffs, when it is the same network and equipment, the whole thing is nothing buy an opaque mess disguised as a saving , doubtless someone is receiving commissions for the switch but not me.
How anyone can make an informed decision on the information supplied and that not yet supplied until after switching is beyond reason, all with the added unnecessary jeopardy of a pressure selling deadline.Responses to questions are generic and not helpful in any way, the clock is ticking ....
