⚠️ Avoid Bigfoot Trailer Ph

A Nightmare Build Experience
I should have learned from reading Jie Teves’ review before dealing with this builder. If you are considering them, save your money and choose a reliable, legitimate professional instead.
Here is a breakdown of my horrible experience with Bigfoot Trailer Ph:
1. Terrible Communication & Lack of Legitimacy
The issues started immediately with delayed production. I ordered the unit online and explicitly requested progress pictures. Getting updates was like pulling teeth—it took days just to receive a photo.
• Text messages and phone calls to Mel or Keene Zike were almost completely ignored.
• I had one interaction with Mel's husband, and he was just as difficult and unpleasant to deal with.
• Red Flags: They do not have a business permit, and they cannot issue official receipts. I highly recommend asking about this before hiring any builder.
2. Dangerous Quality Control & Build Deficiencies
After the unit arrived, I immediately had to take it to a professional shop to fix the taillight wiring and a dangerously loose wheel. Upon a closer inspection of the build, I found several major defects:
• Substandard Paint: It looks like they only applied a single, thin coat of paint.
• Broken Trailer Stand: The stand isn't fastened properly. The moment you remove the locking pin, it completely falls off. I have to manually guide and hold it in place whenever I want to stand or tuck it.
• Hazardous Wiring: The electrical wiring for the taillights was left hanging loosely underneath the trailer.
• Unsafe Wheel Hubs: Both hub bearings were loose, particularly on the right wheel. One hub bolt actually came off entirely. Shockingly, they used poor welding to hold it together instead of a proper hub bolt.
• Missing Hardware: The tailgate's left hinge was completely missing its lock pin. The right had a under par DIY lock pin.
The Verdict
When I first noticed the loose right wheel and brought it up to Mel, her response was absolute silence. Seeing how they handled that, I didn't even bother informing them of the other issues. I don't believe they were truthful when asked if this bulid passed their quality inspection and road worthiness.
Don't make the mistake of trying to save a few bucks. Always check for Facebook or internet reviews. Verify a builder's business credentials before handing over your hard-earned money.

The wheels fell off!

Please save your money and give the job to the locals. The owner of this company, Domonic Anselmi, is an american expat and cut many corners when he made the trailer. I wanted to give this contract to him cause I'm married to an expat as well and i know how difficult it is to earn money living in PH. Anyway, some of the parts he used for the trailer was from a junk shop. The leaf spring was not straight and square. some parts are welded very bad. the tray is not square. the wheels are not aligned because of this. and 1 of the wheel came off when i reversed it when i arrived from picking it up. no shock absorbers which i specifically told him that it would be used for heavy duty work around the farm. i could list more but i hope you get my point. Considering that this trailer is very expensive!! i could post pictures and screenshots if i could. very horrible experience to say the least.
