Superb company

Very informative staff and rapid order updates.

I bought front suspention for my bike over the weekend when they were not open, over the weekend after it ended I received a call informing me that the item may not be in stock.
After a few hours they called back checking their warehouse and they gave me some extra options and discounts to get it ordered in and delivered for cheaper which was Very helpful and nice.
But I needed the suspention asap so I asked them to cancel my order as I found another seller who was able shipped within 2-3 days.

Overall the staff member (Gareth) I was working with was Very informative and kept me upto date every step of the way, Sadly my order was not complete but they did refund my order with no issues and are willing to provide extra support apon my next order with them.

I can recommend this company to anyone as they seem like a small business and are most definitely focused on customer happiness.

I wouldn't recommend the company for

I bought what was supposed to enhance the performance of my rad runner bike part from them. My bike lost most of its range and was not good to ride after fitting. I have contacted them several times but there's no help coming from them. They was nice, till they got My money. I wouldn't recommend the company.

Received my EGGRIDER V2 from BIG GAME…

Received my EGGRIDER V2 from BIG GAME BIKES today for my new Radrhino 6+ and I was absolutely AMAZED at the way it totally TRANSFORMED my bike, has UNLOCKED the throttle, given me 9 Pedal assist levels, and once you download the Eggrider app and pair it with your new display, you can set and change even more on the app, and have your phone on the bike connected to the app for all information when you are riding, too much to put on here, I can not wait to get out on my bike now, I want to say a massive thank you to Gareth S for all his help, from buying the Eggrider to it arriving and Gareth talked me through how to set it up, please do not hesitate to get this from BGB for your Radrhino 6+ as you will not believe what it can do and will Transform your bike.

Apologies for late review as I have had…

Apologies for late review as I have had this on my mind for some time to write
Just busy commitments.

In my view these upgrades I have purchased from BGB are essential to any RAD model particularly the Rad wagon as the weight of this bike demands more power for those average hills travelled and of course regular work commutes etc.

I have both the Radrunner & Radwagon with the 35Amp controller and display installed from you guys, excellent 👍

The display is great to easily navigate the functions and is clearly readable in daylight and night time.

I've also installed the hydraulic breaks from BGB on the Radwagon ,what a difference! They are easily installed with with patience.

With the added enhancement of power this definitely contributes to the bikes being a lot safer particularly as I live in a city like Milan where you need such flexibility.

Installation of all the accessories I've purchased was a breeze with careful attention to the details as provided by BGB.

I particularly like the cruise function and i found myself regularly using this, I'm a little lazy I guess.

The packaging and service I received from big game bikes has been exemplary and I would recommend them to anyone who is serious about e-bikes.

Go elsewhere honestly!!!!

Spoke with Gareth on the phone concerning the Impala ebike,also wanted a second battery and a Dtex battery connector.
Gareth was very up best and lively on the phone...
The bike was slightly discontinued as it had been used for a photo shoot this is what I was told only had slight scratches.
A whole week went buy still no delivery no bike,I had a call from Gareth telling me that the second battery I had ordered also at a discount coz it was a return had got a problem wouldn't change been on the shelf to long is what I was told...
He went on to tell me to expect phone call for delivery which happened several days later..
The bike arrived faulty the spacer in the handlebar stem was missing.i called Gareth and he assured me that he had tried the bike and all was well at time of shipping! Then when I sent a video of the issue he said it must have happened in transit as this as happened before the driver must have strapped it down to tightly.he told me losing it and re tighten it.....well it ended up needing the spacer that he finally admitted to after BLATANTLY lying to me that he had indeed tested the bike before it had shipped...Really....
I had the bike a week didn't use apart from a very small test ride.
Meanwhile my wife was taken seriously I'll in work and is still in hospital.
I contacted Gareth to ask for a return which they agreed to took over a week to get it collected, Gareth has now had the bike back Eleven days and I have still not been refunded...
I have asked via WhatsApp and email as I really need the money as I have had to take a long leave of absence from work to care for my wife this seems to have fallen on deaf ears...
The main battery on the bike had a vibration when changing again he lied to me telling me he had fully charged the batteries before shipping .why then did I have to change them for Three hrs just making a fool out of yourself mate .
If I don't get my refund by this coming Friday I will be taking the matter up with PayPal!!!!
Disgusting way in which to treat customers and reading the poor reviews on her oh my god I'm surprised your still in business...
Please don't respond with the useal oh we're sorry email just refund my money it's No longer yours to keep I have enough on my plate without having to chase you!!!!

Refund was made via e cheque still not cleared in to my account......
Another update.
It's the 28/12/23 just been notified by PayPal that Gareth has cancelled the refund, PayPal are now dealing with this horrible person,,,Buyer beware of this guy seriously spend your money elsewhere!!!!.
I was able to return the bike as I was within my rights under their 14 no question asked policy the bike was returned in better condition than I received it from them I fixed the handlebar and had to put caps on the break cables as they were coming lose what a way to send an e bike out to a customer shame full...
UPDATE.
It's now 9/01/2024
And I still haven't got my money back from this horrible horrible lying person.
Gareth has asked PayPal for proof that I returned his bike back before he will refund my money.
I have contacted Byway logistics and they have confirmed he had the bike back on the 12/12/2023..
When I asked him if he had the bike back on the on the 16/12/2023 he said no not yet it should arrive in another 2/3 days...yet another lie this guy is not to be trusted at all..
When you call him for an order hesyfull of sweetness and light,the truth is when you have to return the order then you see just what kind of living horrible person he really is ..
I don't know if he didn't have the funds in his bank but he phoned me originally to say it will be created to my account in three day another lie as he he new it was refunded via e cheque.....which he cancelled...
So I'm now going to speak with the FRAUD department of my bank as PayPal are enabling him to delay my refund...
Please please do your research on this guy as he will bite you when it comes to returning your money..

Hide import costs for customer.

Shipping takes forever, they add delivery costs but don't mention the additional taxes I have to pay, (55 euro on a 170 euro purchase). Buried in their terms and conditions is the fact I need to pay any taxes. They should be open about this rather than wasting my time and money rather than being dishonest about the cost.

Buffalo bike - batteries nightmare

I was supposed to leave a review a long time ago, but kept postponing and now I think I have enough time dealing with them and their bike in order to have more to say.
I purchased the Buffalo bike back in February. I did not buy directly from them, but they have always been my point of contact from the purchase (as the retailer has always been useless).
Basically I spent almost 3k on a bike, modified with a controller and an extra battery.
The bike looks great and it is really a monster. I paid extra for what the retailer call "white glove", that would mean the bike would arrive assembled and ready to ride. £150.00 on that and when riding the bike on city centre the pedal has simply fallen from the bike. Spoken to Big Games and they sent me a new pedal. Fair enough but killed already the whole purpose of the 150,00 I threw in the bin.
Bike looks really good, but the problems did not stop there. It is a bike, and you would think you can ride it on rainy days. Apparently not. I was riding the bike and my batteries started showing signs of water ingress to the point that you would turn the batteries upside down and the water would fall from the inside.
Spoken to Big Games and was told that "water ingress was not covered by warranty", I was advised to send it back but pre-warned about that. I came back and forth arguing that it would make no sense to me to send it back if they were already telling me that it would not be considered warranty issue. I even suggested they sent me battery covers, which was never accepted.
Next problems sent from Spokes of my back tire that started falling, till the screen that just died.
To cut it very short.
Even with all the issues, even with all the problems, Big games was always very responsive sending me pedals, pedal crank (was broken as well), and even an innertube, but the main issues were never dealt with. I still use the bike (when it works) and I feel extremely disappointed with the fact that I paid 3k for something that did not last a year.
Another issue you have is that NO ONE wants to do any repairs on this bike. Unless you know how to repair a bike yourself, or live close to big games main store, if anything happens you are by yourself.
My advise? Do not buy it unless you are willing to keep inside on rainy days or unless you know how to do bike repairs. I have the bike now inside my shed with flat tires for the 5th time in 2 months, and with the batteries working every other day. It does not worth the price you pay AT ALL.

Absolutely Untrustworthy - Avoid at All Costs!

Edit. Gareth has tried to remove this review and has lied in his responses. Proof has been shared on Google reviews and this situation is ongoing.

I had the misfortune of dealing with Big Game Bikes recently, and I can confidently say that my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. To put it bluntly, this company is utterly untrustworthy, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their products or services to look elsewhere.

Before I purchased the controller I had some questions and Gareth replied to my email very quickly and even called me on a Saturday morning to answer my questions he told me that the installation was foolproof, it was.

Yes definitely buy the controller was the message and as I wanted to buy, it didn't take much convincing.

My ordeal began after I installed the 35a controller from Big Game Bikes for my RAD e-bike. Little did I know that this controller would work perfectly for about an hour and after this it would lead to a months-long saga of frustration and disappointment. The controller I received turned out to be faulty, causing severe damage to my e-bike, which had been running flawlessly for over a year prior to this purchase.

I was told to return the controller and they would see if they could work out what went wrong. I told them it was faulty and therefore their responsibility to organise the return.

I was sent a return label,weeks went by and I chased several times to ask where the replacement was, I then received a package, and inside was the original damaged controller. I contacted them but it took several days for them to acknowledge my email probably because they already had my money.

Two days later I received an actual replacement and a return label. After installing the new controller it transpired that the original faulty controller had not only taken itself out of action but it had damaged something on my bike.

What followed was a litany of excuses, evasions, and attempts to shift blame on their part. Instead of acknowledging their responsibility for the damage caused by their defective product, they tried to push it back onto me, the customer. Their lack of accountability is nothing short of astounding.

There was a very feeble attempt to suggest that I had made an error in one of the settings. In their sheet of paper that explains how to set the controller up there are "suggested settings" and settings that say "DO NOT CHANGE". They tried to say that I could have played with the settings and changed things I shouldn't so that could be the reason or that their controller had failed. They tried to say I caused the damage. Once I knocked that excuse back they tried to say that perhaps the controller "highlighted an existing fault in my bike". Luckily I had already contacted my solicitor so knew what to reply. Then once they realised they had to fix it they tried to get me to pay for the bike to be collected for £250 so they could test it.

It's clear that they are more interested in avoiding liability than ensuring customer satisfaction.

What's worse, they attempted to coerce me into sending back all components of my e-bike, inlcuding my original controller which was never in the bike with their controller, claiming it was necessary for testing when in truth it was to try to find a way to blame me. Let me be clear: the law does not require consumers to surrender all parts of a product for testing, especially when it is evident that the fault lies with the supplier. Their insistence on this point is both legally questionable and ethically dubious.

As a disabled individual, my e-bike is not just a luxury but a lifeline to the outside world, allowing me to spend time with my children and enjoy the freedom of the open air. Big Game Bikes' reckless actions have deprived me of this essential means of mobility and leisure for far too long.

So, I'm left with no choice but to escalate this matter further. I have already contacted Trading Standards to initiate a formal investigation, and I am in the process of pursuing legal action against Big Game Bikes. Trust me when I say that I will not rest until I have held them accountable for their actions.

In summary, Big Game Bikes is a company that acts with complete disregard for its customers and their rights. They are untrustworthy, evasive, and unprofessional. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I implore you to steer clear of this company. There are plenty of reputable alternatives out there that will treat you with the respect and fairness you deserve. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting this disgraceful company.

Companies like this are not worth dealing with but luckily I have a great solicitor who is preparing a case against the company and Gareth directly so I can be sure to get my money for damages and costs.

Avoid Big Game Bikes at all costs!

5. Legal Recourse: We have always sought a resolution satisfying all parties involved. In light of your decision to involve legal representation, we await contact from your solicitor to proceed further.

Poor Quality Smart Helmet

I bought Smart Helmet for Urban Commuter from Big Game Bikes, the quality is very poor, and comes with a 50% charge, try to charge the helmet but would not charge. Insert the SD card into the helmet and try to record, and nothing is recorded, totally not working. Return the helmet at the cost of £11.15 to Big Game Bikes, which I was not refunded for. Ended up buying another smart helmet for half the price of the Big Game Bikes helmet from another company which is far better quality.
