Excellent if you are patient.

Our home in Mills River Crossing South, is beautiful, well-built, and we love it. However, it has taken some time for Big Hills to fix some issues with the house and neighborhood. The final paving of our streets is happening as I type this, and looks to be a very good job, with no mid-lane seam. If you are patient and persistent, the end result is worth the effort. Danny Gaega, the development manager, is very pleasant, and amazes me with his ability to recognize everyone in the neighborhood by name.

I would never buy a home from Big Hills…

I would never buy a home from Big Hills again. They have proven to be dishonest and disreputable. They have not completed contractual obligations for homeowners and the community at large. They have not released the HOA to the community while still collecting dues from homeowners. But most importantly, they are planning on building a multi unit storage facility directly adjacent to our neighborhood where we were told by the builder and realtors representing Big Hills that additional homes would be built on this site. This facility would directly affect our property values not to mention allow others to freely enter our community that was marketed as a gated community. Buyer beware.

Still trying to get our warranty punch…

Still trying to get our warranty punch list finished going on 18 months. They know the work and have tried to get them to finish the work but have not responded to calls, text msgs or emails. Poor customer service and promises not addressed. Disrespectful. Sorry for buying the home.

Avoid this builder at all costs!!

I purchased a Big Hills Home 2 years ago, and had a one-year warranty. There have been major issues, not what would be expected in a $1.5 million home. There are major foundation issues, leaking in the basement, warped cabinetry, home shifting, defective windows, and multiple unkept promises. Despite repeated despite appealing to the builder, warranty issues have been ignored. I am now retaining an attorney. I encourage you to be EXTREMELY cautious is dealing with this company (I am told that they have had similar issues in the past, and have simply closed their construction company and opened it again by another name...I haven't confirmed this but BE CAUTIOUS!)

I recently purchased a new home and…

I recently purchased a new home and embarked on the daunting task of finding a reliable construction company to carry out a few necessary renovations and improvements. After conducting comprehensive research and seeking recommendations from friends, I settled on Big Hills Construction. I am delighted to say that my experience with them surpassed all expectations, leaving me thoroughly impressed.
