A HEALTHY PRODUCT LACED WITH SUGAR AND…

A HEALTHY PRODUCT LACED WITH SUGAR AND OTHER UNNECESSARY INGREDIENTS, ONCE AGAIN

Profoundly disappointed when, in a hurry, I picked up this product and only read ingredients when I got it home. I usually do my ingredient checking in store.

Maltodextrin is a sugar and modified maize starch is also another ingredient which can affect glycemic load. These two ingredients are totally unnecesssry for your health conscious customers. And for someone like me who struggles to find products without added sugar, so exhausting, frustrating and disappointing. It makes me angry.

I’m my 70s, very overweight and still I don’t have diabetes. Why? Because I have always made sure to have as little sugar-added foods as possible except on rare occasions. I overeat yes, but not junk. I’m healthy, don’t take medications and am passionate about nutrition and angry about the ever increasing addition of sugar (in all it’s forms) and more salt to almost every food in the supermarket which has been processed with even the lightest touch. This product a case in point.

I just won’t buy it again, it’s as simple as that and it would have been a great addition to my nutrition as I again struggle with weight management.

This product would have been perfect with no sugar or maize starch. People are free to add those things later if they want.

Without these I would have given you 5 stars.
