PARKING IS A TOTAL SCAM

PARKING IS A TOTAL SCAM. If you are planning to go there by car, first consider if you can shop anywhere else. (Most shops can be found in other places in and around Copenhagen). I got a parking ticket on a random Monday morning with the parking lot half empty for exceeding the 2-hour time limit by 20 minutes. This is how you are rewarded for visiting the mall - Parking “security” constantly going around and trying to catch you off by minutes while you are busy spending money in the shops.
Avoid if you can!

Ridiculous parking rules and fees

Ridiculous parking rules and fees. I will never shop there again after receiving a 650 kr fine for exceeding the 2-hour parking limit. My guess is that a large fraction of visitors would easily spend over 2 hours at this center, so even if we accepted the absurd parking rules, what sense does it make to get back in your car every 2 hours and drive around for another spot? If they want to charge for parking, just be honest and set up a gate and an hourly rate.

Big Herlev One Park - Business Model is built on Robbing with Parking Fines in Ground Floor

Big Herlev One Park - Business Model is built on Robbing with Parking Fines in Ground Floor

Big Herlev Parking Fine is set up in such a way that people make mistake easily and rob their money with parking fine.
They set up the boards with small letters (NOT BIG BOARDS) in ground floor, only 2 hours park limit in ground floor which is not the same in other shopping malls, no park machines to pay for extra time, parking fine even if just crossed the park time which is not the same in shopping malls....all these make HERLEV BIG LOOSE CUSOTMERS

Here are the issues i see
- Herlev Big doesn't not have a uniform parking fee on all places.
Consequence: People don't observe this so much and they assume the same all over and get trapped at the ground parking places
- Herlev Big One Park always waits and parks people as much as possible after 2 hours right away. In all Shopping malls in Kobenhagen, eventhough they cross parking limit they wont fine right away. They fine only outstanding, long time parking personal cars or vehicles. For example in Fisketorvet, etc.
- One Park doesnt provide any parking machines intentionally in Herlev Big. Because they know they will make more money on fines than parking tickets.
- Herlev Big One Park knows everybody who comes can spend more than 2 hours due to the restaurant, shops etc. People wont come back to car before 2 hours just to change the time; so its easy trap to cross the park time. There is no park machine so that they can pay the extra time. Obviously the moment 2 hours crossed they fine. Its rediculous.
- They wont have USER FRIENDLY PARKING FEE Advertisement System. They make money on fines on Ground Floor, thats why they DID NOT KEEP BIG BOARDS for GROUND FLOOR. Instead they kept for 1.sal or top floor about Parking fee advertisement with Big Letters.
- They DONT HAVE BIG BOARDS on Ground Floor to Warn customers about 2 hours parking limit.
