I had a used car in very good condition…

I had a used car in very good condition and low mileage that I had attempted to sell through Motorway. I loaded all photos of damage etc and when they turned up to take the vehicle they tried to lock more than £1000k off the price. I then contacted Bigwantsyourcar and frankly couldn’t believe the difference in the customer service experience. Right from the first email and phonecall , the team were transparent, courteous and polite and made me a confirmed offer the same day. It was then plain sailing from there in terms of everything- the offer, the contract , arrangements for the vehicle to be collected and the man who came to collect the vehicle could not have been any more polite and professional. What a change to experience this type of service in the motor trade industry, forget webuyanycar(who offered me £2k less) or Motorway who tried to rip me
off - use these guys they’re great.

Not impressed

Waste of time, sent them the details of my car and they made an offer which i accepted.
i rang them several times, no answer and the calls eventually timed out and i was disconnected , requested the call back option 3 times , guess what no one called.
I've been inundated with emails since saying someone will call but no one has

Awful company

Awful company. I’ve had so many calls and texts. Constantly messaging and saying send a message if you’re not interested I’VE SENT THREE MESSAGES!!!

Their offer was lower than others hence why we went elsewhere but now being harassed constantly.

Friendly

Friendly, professional and very easy to use. Sold my Peugeot 308 today.
Vehicle was collected by a very friendly and professional driver Michael.
The whole process was quick and easy. I was initially very anxious as had never sold a vehicle before.
Michael made the whole process easy and was very friendly.
Payment was swift. I 💯 percent would use them again and I would recommend them to friends anyday!

Very professional throughout

Very professional throughout, once they had seen photo's, gave me a price and stuck to it. When it came to collect the car, day and time arranged. Glyn from drive me was very helpful and money was in my account with in minutes, then he took the car.

But mostly thanks to Pantelis who collected the car and was outstanding with his service. Really put me at ease and was very helpful.

The process is not for the feint hearted, with lots of photographs and messages going back and forward. But the overall experience was good, the agreed sale price and pick up time were honoured. I would use this company again and would recommend them.

Would not recommend this company.
Once you submit your details, they call you constantly, easily 20 times a day, which is extremely off-putting. The customer service was poor; the email responses felt immature and overly nit-picky, often focusing on issues that were completely out of our control. It genuinely felt like they didn’t want to buy the car in the first place.
They arranged an appointment for someone to view and collect my car the same day, giving a time of 12pm. I had to take half a day off work, only for the representative to arrive over an hour late. He also turned up on foot, which immediately raised concerns about whether the car was actually going to be taken that day. To make matters worse, he wasn’t even employed by the company, he was self‑employed,which made the whole process feel disorganised and unprofessional.
He pointed out two very minor exterior issues that I genuinely hadn’t noticed before. He then handed me his phone to speak to someone from the office, who flat-out refused to buy the car and didn’t even attempt to negotiate or offer a reduced price. The poor guy then had to walk away, leaving us all having wasted time.
They later suggested I should have declared these issues beforehand, despite them being so minor that I was unaware they even existed until they were pointed out on the day.
Overall, this was a complete waste of time. While BWYC may offer a competitive price initially, the process is frustrating and unreliable. I would strongly recommend going directly to a dealership instead they can properly view your car the same day and provide a far better experience

Please don’t bother with this company

Please don’t bother with this company. They were calling me restlessly on Easter Sunday and gave me a price estimation to which I thought it was below the market but then they would not stop calling and texting and when I when I finally responded on a Monday bank holiday, they said they are not buying your type of car right now ! They are a waste of time and I question their legitimacy as well so they should be reported as I’ve noticed the same kinda behaviour

These guys are fantastic!

These guys are fantastic!
All the car buying firms could learn alot from BWYC!!
This is the 2nd time ive used them and would never consider using anyone else again.
They make the whole process from start to finish so easy and on both occasions gave the best prices.
All staff I have spoke to and emailed have been great and extremely helpful.
