I have been using Bike flights for…

I have been using Bike flights for years to send frames back and forth to customers. You have now changed it and while you may have sent info out I did not notice that you are not sending the UPS label to emails. I needed to process it to know how much to charge the customer and did not have access to a printer at the time. I took me forever to get ahold of Bikeflights people to re send me the label so I could print it and delayed shipping by at least a day.

We recently updated our label delivery process and sent communications outlining the changes, including that labels can now be printed immediately at checkout or anytime by logging into your account and viewing your orders. Let's start from the beginning

Let's start from the beginning. First, they got the pickup addres wrong and the pickup was delayed. Next, they had the receiver address incomplete and we had to redo the shipping labels with the complete address. Once the shipment was on it's way, documents I had completed and signed were not forwarded to UPS for customs clearance. I had to continually contact BikeFlights for them to follow up and correct these issues. When I finally received my bike, almost 2 weeks after it was picked up, the bike was damaged and I'm going to have to take it to a bike shop for repairs before it can be ridden.
From start to finish, just a poor job of customer service. Once they had my money, very little follow through, I'll never recommend this company to anyone.

We do want to note that our team remained in communication with you throughout the shipment process and actively monitored the shipment from the start, including providing guidance regarding potential customs and transit delays associated with shipments into Spain. International shipments can occasionally require additional documentation review and customs coordination, and we understand how stressful those delays can feel while waiting for an important shipment to arrive.

We also want to mention that the complete delivery address was not provided until after the shipment label had already been created, which contributed to additional handling and coordination during transit.

That said, we absolutely understand your disappointment regarding the damage reported upon delivery. That is never the experience we want for our customers. Ability to take advantage of pricing much lower than that available to an individual

Estimate provided to me by UPS as an individual was 2-3 times the cost provided to me via BikeFlights. Having saved the original shipping box I received the bike in allowed me to pack bike in same sturdy large container and provide with accurate dimensions. Optional insurance. Convenient no-hassle drop-off at local UPS store using pre-printed label provided by BikeFlights. Impressed by speed at which delivery arrived at end point 1000+ miles.

A truly professional company to work with

I had to arrange to ship my bike on short notice. Bikeflights was great to work with, guiding me through the whole process. When there was a problem with the shipper's ability to verify my address, they resolved it quickly. They kept me informed throughout the process, and let me know immediately when the shipper delayed my delivery by a day. And the cost was significantly less than any shipper quoted me directly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Ideal for bike shop shipping

As a bike shop owner, Bikeflights.com is perfect for our shipping needs. We ship customer bikes to their needed locations, as well as much of our outbound sales and returns via Bikeflights. The website is easy to navigate, and they make the whole process stress free.

Bike was damaged in shipping

Bike was damaged in shipping. Even though I paid for " insurance" there was not a clear way to file a claim and the UPS store deflected all inquiries for filing a claim. UPS consistently damages packages based on my previous experience, but I hoped using Bike Flight might have been different. Please consider FedEx or other carriers to contract with. UPS's business model and practices continue to fail with providing acceptable customer service.
