Bought a Philips Smart TV 50" from Bilka WebShop for DKK 2,483 including 25% VAT.
Tried it for 5 days but it was below our expectations and with minor defects.
Since we were still in the 30-day return window we reached out to them and asked for Bilka to pick up our TV and return it since we do not own a car.
As per their website and one of their employees, the return should've been between DKK 130 - 180 based on the length, height and weight of the product, basically a conversion to m^3.
Sounds good right? Just to be given back the refund of DKK 1,913 containing 25% VAT.
I am sorry but there is no way that the package got returned for the price of DKK 570 (basically they told me that since the TV is "big" for 127cm:))) they had to charge me extra and include it under the 7m^2category. Excuse me but in what world a TV is the same size height and width as a bathroom?
In comparison, on their return list prices, they charge 230 KR for a lawnmower of 100kgs while a 12kg TV is under the heaviest category. “We checked and the return of 570 DKK is okay because the TV is large” 🤡
Now of course they're playing stupid and ignoring me while I am left without a TV and 22.8% of my initial payment because of some incompetent employees.
