Similar to other reviews left for this company I also would NOT recommend them to anyone. Their fabrics certainly do look lovely on the site and I’d have loved to receive mine but I never did. I ordered on Etsy and waiting almost 5 days over predicted delivery dates to make a request for help from Etsy and was granted a refund. But it was silent from the company, no one responded to any of my messages on their site or on Etsy. Although their site is very polished they clearly need better communication with clients or at least to lay out some expectations if they are inundated with orders.

Placed and paid for an order on the website on the 12th. Radio silence since then... I know this is a small business and I would understand if something happened making it hard to send the order or causing a delay. The issue is that nobody is letting me know what is going on and my messages are ignored. Come on!

Jenny really went the extra mile to organize delivery of a parcel of Liberty fabric to me in South Africa. The order was dispatched very quickly, and dhl delivery was very efficient.
I'm thrilled with my fabrics. The whole process was easy and pain-free, and I certainly will shop here again. Thank you, Jenny!

The fabric I ordered was badly cut with the ends uneven so I effectively lost a chunk of useable cloth. Wrote a polite email to raise the issue; got a dismissive and sarky email in response.
Wish I'd read the other reviews beforehand, as there are other small scale fabric companies that need supporting. Avoid, avoid, avoid this one.

Do not order from Billowfabrics. I did that mistake: I had to pay customs for the whole amount of my order though I got only half of my order. There was no information about half of the fabrics are post-delivered. When I contacted the seller, she blamed me of her own mistake and though I asked, she didn't send me invoice so I could have required correction to the customs. I wanted to cancel the rest of my order and to refund my money but she sent the package anyway. I will not receive the package as I don't want to pay customs fees again. She told me that one of the fabrics is cut half, although I ordered it in one piece.. So nothing went well. Avoid this shop!

Absolutely appalling service and a ‘pig headed’ arrogant owner. Was most unhelpful on questioning where was my order - asked for a full refund and was not forthcoming at all and would not refund to the extent of telling me a ‘cock and bull’ story of how parcels went missing and took 2 to 3 weeks delivery last Christmas!!! Not my problem. I took a claim out via PayPal only for the parcel to arrive miraculously next day by 24 hour delivery - what a coincidence!! Plenty of other shops selling same quality craft felt - I suggest finding one of those and avoid this one like the plague!

I have placed an order a week ago and since then I received no information regarding my order. It is mentioned on the website that almost all orders are shipped out the next working day. I have sent several emails/started chat on the website but got no replies. I have raised a complaint through PayPal so I will claim the refund via them. The shop cannot be reached via phone either which is already suspicious. If you consider ordering from them DON’T DO IT.

I have used billow fabrics numerous times in the past and everything has been fine. My latest delivery went missing and the owner, Jenny, was not interested at all. It took ages to find out where it was and then it was “it was delivered a week ago” it wasn’t! She was completely uninterested and barely replied to my messages. In the end it turned out it was posted through the door of another house in my village. They popped it through my door when back from a 3 week holiday!! So I got my order but with no thanks or help from Billow fabrics. Such a shame as I had ordered a lot. I won’t be ordering again!!

I'm really impressed with the service. I placed an order on Friday and it arrived Saturday. Postage was free and it was sent using 24h post. The quality of the wool felt is amazing, and such lovely colours. Of course I need more colours so I have already placed a second order which has some discount deducted. I'd highly recommend this website.
