Beautiful dress

Great dress, I purchase hopefully to use for a casual wedding dress. The product was better then expected and very fast delivery, I will purchase again and recommend this company to everyone

This has honestly been a horrible…

This has honestly been a horrible experience with these guys. I've just lost $130. So what this store does is that when you get a credit note you are basically locked in to only buy from Billyj. I have bought many dresses as a bridesmaid and now i have bought a lot as a bride for my bridesmaids. Once you are issued a credit note you will always be locked in to a credit note and will not be allowed a refund as that was the way the purchase was made. Very disappointing after spending so much money at this place, you would think they would be a little more understanding. Very disappointed in the service provided.

I really have very bad customer service…

I really have very bad customer service I have purchased Karah Pants and Charlotte Top it was too short and the Karah Pants was too long so I didn’t like I have done the return and they charge $12 for the postage and they have received the item to there store and I haven’t received my refund yet. I have emailed the customer service of billy j no response to the email bad customer service experience.. I need my refund back ASAP very bad experience

Poor customer service

Unfortunately I received poor customer service from Billy J. A bridesmaid dress had been bought a few months earlier, (three were bought through their site). One bridesmaid found out she was pregnant and we contacted Billy J to ask to exchange for a different dress that was a bit roomier. They refused to do an exchange, despite still stocking the dress we were trying to swap. They stuck to the 30 day returns policy and didn’t have any nuance for the situation. Stating we’d need to purchase a new dress. I would understand if they didn’t stock the original dress anymore, but that wasn’t the case. A big beware for any brides that are looking to use this brand for bridesmaid dresses and there is a chance a bridesmaid may fall pregnant!

Unfortunately, your order was 3 months outside of our return policy. The reason we have this policy in place is because with ongoing restocks, there can be slight colour variations between bridesmaid dress batches. While these are usually minimal, it’s important for us to ensure that all returned pieces are consistent with our current stock, and after a certain time, that can’t always be guaranteed.

This policy is important to ensure all customers receive consistent batches. We're sure you can appreciate, this is especially important for our bridesmaid dresses, where even slight shade differences can stand out.

Shopped 3 times with them over the past…

UPDATE: they have replied below and said they don’t see me on their system but I have been emailing them all week about my refund.
I was just told my refund will be PROCESSED in 3-5 days AFTER they have received it? I have never heard of this. It took 3 days to arrive to their wharehouse and I have to wait an additional 5 days for them to actually process it then I assume I have to wait even longer for it for return to my account.
Every email I have sent my questions are never answered. Reading the reviews of Billy j on reddit is the confirmation I needed. What a joke.

Shopped 3 times with them over the past few years and every single order I have to refund because the items look nothing like how they look on the models and the materials are horrible.
I always have to email them and chase them up when my express delivery will be dispatched and also chase them up for a refund. Wouldn’t recommend!

I ordered a dress off Billy J

I ordered a dress off Billy J, and unfortunately my computer auto corrected the address and didn’t include the house number. Billy J continued to send the package to an address without a house or unit number evidently the address was invalid so it was sent back to the sender (Billy J).

I requested a refund which after two emails they responded saying that was possible, however it was minus the shipping cost which I took as the original shipment cost for sending the package, but no they wanted another $12 for sending back to the sender.

So all up I’ve paid for $24 in shipping costs, received no dress. I understand it’s partly my fault for not including a house address but how did they send a package without a valid address.

As the address provided at checkout was missing a house or unit number, the parcel was deemed undeliverable by the courier and returned to us. In these cases, shipping fees - including the return-to-sender fee charged by the courier - are not refundable, as they are costs already incurred during the delivery process.

We always recommend carefully reviewing the shipping address at checkout to avoid delivery issues, as orders are processed based on the information entered.

HORRIBLE

I still haven’t received any response from you. I paid $30 for express shipping, and it is absolutely unacceptable that my order has not been delivered today. One possible solution would be for you to send me two replacement dresses right away, and if I ever receive the other parcel in the future, I will return it to you.

It is not normal that both you and the courier keep blaming each other instead of solving the issue.

Poor quality

Poor quality. My item was missing a button on arrival so I had to use a spare and sew it on myself. Then when I went to wear it for the first time another button had fallen off and I had to reattach it. The halter part of the top keeps coming undone as well and my boobs have almost been on full display in public because of this. I’ve actually had to sew the halter in place.

A dress I received has such bad quality claps that they keep coming undone when I walk.

Extremely disappointed in the quality. The clothes also smelt terrible and of plastic on arrival. I wasn’t allowed to return the dress as it was a sale item which was annoying.

The service I received was terrible

The service I received was terrible, they refuse a return on a completely sheer dress. They said it’s not deemed faulty it’s a “thin summer dress” therefore no return , in which case they should include in the item description . Really disappointed and will not be shopping from them again
