After providing my VIN, firmware version, vehicle production year, and confirming that my car is a 2019 BMW i3s, the seller assured me that it was fully compatible and explained exactly what I needed to do.

I purchased an ENET cable (around €10–15), connected it from my laptop’s Ethernet port to the car’s OBD port, and followed the instructions provided. The process itself is straightforward, although it can be a bit stressful at first.

One important detail: after completing the installation, make sure to properly shut down the system (get out of the car, lock it, and wait a few minutes). In my case, after doing this and starting the car again, Apple CarPlay appeared and worked perfectly.

Everything is now running without any issues.

I think it took longer to figure out how to access the CarPlay through the system that the install itself which is very simple.

Activated CarPlay on my 2017 X3. Received the software minutes after payment. I followed their directions and within a few minutes CarPlay was enabled. I had some minor issues with establishing the CarPlay connection to my phone, but finally found the right checkbox. I was in email contact with immediate response. I was most impressed that they have native MacOS app, unlike others. Do not hesitate.

The instructions to upgrade my BMW 5 Series to wireless widescreen Carplay was excellent. The car required an additional WiFi Antenna which I fitted following some dash panel removal videos from YouTube. All working well, stable with no lag. Transformed the car. Thank you
