We stopped using couriers last year, due to long delays in delivery and the fact that they mostly leave cards for collection at depots, which are even more inconvenient. We are with Eparcel, which is a very reliable service and has more features than a normal Australia Post service. The parcel was delivered to a company in commerical premises, and we ensure that we get a signature delivery if there is no-one there to receive it, due to the fact that things can go missing. So we have had to weigh up what is the quickest and safest option for all our deliveries. We do understand your frustration and appreciate the feedback. We can possibly amend our delivery options in the cart to be more clear on these sorts of deliveries. First time order, a well thought out service.
First time order. A gift for a friend in Melbourne. The catalogue showed a nice choice to select from. Given the quality of the packaging and presentation the price was quite reasonable The ordering process is well designed and a key feature is the option to add a personal note, important when it's a gift. Once ordered Australia Post provided tracking updates. However it took 8 days (or 6 working ) to deliver. Waiting to hear from my friend who is probably traveling!
Footnote, my friend has received the delivery and is delighted. I saw a photo on WhatsApp and I have to say it looked terrific and the personal note was perfectly presented. A quality service, 10/10
