Product details

Create an attractive place to feed your garden birds with the Bordeaux window feeding system. Use the feeder to feed seeds (mixes), fat treats and other treats to your garden birds and enjoy the view of the birds feeding from the other side of the window. The feeding bowl is equipped with sturdy suction cups with which you can attach to the window. The roof can be placed separately above the feeding bowl. Leave a gap of about 10cm, and the birds can still land well on the food bowl and the roof keeps the food dry in rain.

Unfortunately I could not upload a video as the size limit is to small so I include a You Tube video instead. In this clip you will see 3 Blue Tits coming from Forsythia in the back ground they seem to prefer Meal Worm than seeds but they like both. I have bever been this enthralled watching these birds. You can install it anywhere around the glass but I have mine sitting where the sucker cups are mounted as the are attached by a sturdy mould leg. These legs stop the tray from bouncing! In these photos you can clearly see the cups and in the centre is a arm which holds the cup but the mould legs extends down from that and they sit just above the Window seal surround. They still support if you put them in the Window by itself, I've tried both but I prefer the low position. The Water drain holes are all around the front curve of the tray. The plastic hood does stop the rain from gathering in the tray, geez we've had enough rain. Unfortunately My resident Robin has lost a leg and I think it does not like heights now, it has watched the others so maybe in time it will but I fear it will not meet a mate now? You can ask Questions on YT as well and I'm more than willing to make Vids or Pics of the actual feeder. So here is the YT post https://youtu.be/z0_Y1k0vAVU

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful account of your window feeder experience. It’s wonderful to hear how the Blue Tits are enjoying both mealworms and seeds, and that the feeder’s design is working so well to keep everything stable and dry. Your observations
about positioning, drainage, and how the birds interact with it are really insightful and will be helpful to anyone considering a similar setup.

We’re sorry to hear about your Robin. Nature can be unpredictable and sometimes heartbreaking, but your careful attention and the safe feeding space you’ve provided are a real comfort for all your garden visitors.

Best regards,
Team CJ Wildlife
