Product details

Brand: CJ Wildlife

Keep your lawn or patio tidy by catching dropped bird seed and husks with this practical bird seed catcher tray. Simply attach it to your CJ Wildlife tube seed feeder to help reduce mess and attract even more birds. You can also use the tray to offer additional food types, such as fat balls, to appeal to a wider variety of garden species. This tray is compatible with our CJ Wildlife tube feeders, including the Challenger, Defender, Apollo, Adventurer and Conqueror ranges. It attaches easily via the included screw plug, or can be mounted onto a Bird Feeder Pole between the feeder and the pole. It can also be used with our Guardian caged feeder range (Challenger, Defender, Apollo, Adventurer, Aura and Athena), when combined with the Feeder Tray Spacer (product code: 940480119). Drainage holes help prevent water build-up and keep bird food dry. 35 cm ø

Stops food falling on the ground especially when feeder used by Tits and Goldfinches who tend to sort the seed out and throw bits they don’t want onto the ground. The smaller trays we had did not catch this seed.

It saves seed from going everywhere and the birds love standing on the edge eating the seed that escapes from the tube.

This seed tray is wide enough to catch most of the seed tossed away by the birds. Also makes a good platform for the red squirrels which come 🐿🐿🐿 to feed on the discarded seed. I’m more than happy to see that

Hello,

It’s quite normal for birds to take their time inspecting a new feeder. They like to be cautious and often observe from a safe distance before deciding it’s worth a visit.

With a little patience, they usually start exploring and feeding, and before long your tray should become a busy little
spot in the garden.

Best regards,
Team CJ Wildlife
