Wonderful Experience!

I have a Birdfy birdhouse and feeder and I love them! I've bought them as gifts for others because they are so much fun. I had a wonderful experience with their service team recently. The piece that holds the camera on my feeder broke as I was trying to reset the camera. I asked birdie if I could purchase a replacement part, they responded immediately and started the review process. Within a day they got back to me to let me know they were sending me a new feeder! This was so unexpected! They truly stand behind their products! I highly recommend their products!

My first Birdfy feeder is about 3 years…

My first Birdfy feeder is about 3 years old, it was one of the first advertised. I had to replace it twice due to it would not connect to the internet . My Hummingbird feeder that I got next, I had to replace once. I recently purchased a new feeder and have had no problems, I think you have finally worked out the kinks. The first one, the antenna broke off and there is no way to repair it. That camera will only work if its inside, it won't connect to the internet when its outside. Because of my sharing my first few videos, I know of 12 to 15 people in my community who contacted me, I gave them your name and they have ordered Feeders with a camera. I had good Customer Service when my cameras would not work, and they were quick to replace the faulty one, and I returned it to your company. I just wish I could replace the antenna on the first one, because it is my oldest, but not I can't use it.

Still waiting...customer service is terrible

I've only gotten one out of the two items I ordered. There has been no communication unless I initiate it. they even made sure to ask me for a review, before they even said anything about the status of my second item. A week and a half later, I still don't have the second feeder, and all I keep being told is that the issuehas been escalated. They've given me no other information and status of the order is not on their site and app. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend at this point.

Screws didn’t fit machined holes

There is a lot of machining in the poles. One of the holes is machined too big. It took me a long time to find a screw that would fit in the hole that was machined way too big.

Ebony model cheap wood/poor customer service

Ebony model has cheap wood and the instructions state that the CUSTOMER must seal it before use.
Came with the metal grate jammed into the birdhouse and nearly cut my hand just prying it out and putting it in it’s correct slot.
The misplaced metal grate put a dent/crack in the door.
Lack of antenna limits where it can be placed.
Customer service has been fighting with me tooth and nail just to return it and pay for shipping it back

I really want to love these devices but…

I really want to love these devices but I think the two birdfeeders I have are first generation and just full of quirks that have since been worked out in later models. I don't know...but it has been one disappointment after another. The latest is that I ordered a solar panel from you so I don't need to constantly take them down and charge them. I ordered the panel with the splitter for two birdfeeders. It does not work. First, the splitter cords are so short I can't imagine they work for anyone. Why would you make them so short knowing that people are going to be connecting two birdfeeders?? Next, the USB C plug would fit into the charger on the back of the birdfeeder but the plastic around the port won't allow it to fit. The port at the top of the camera will fit, but again the cord is so short it sticks up and won't allow the plastic cover over the ports to close, thereby exposing it to weather. The feeders are not really worth all the hassles. I am so disappointed.
