We got some great Bisgaard boots for my child, but when he lost the lace and clasp from one boot, customer service said they don’t supply spare parts. These parts are quite specific to the boot and difficult to replace elsewhere, leaving us wondering whether we have to order a whole new pair.
We offered to pay and cover postage for a new clasp/lace, but got a “computer-says-no” response from customer service. The brand promotes sustainability and reducing waste; it would seem that this is empty rhetoric. A little energy and consistency - asking the right department to post a lace and clasp - would go a long way.

As mentioned, we unfortunately aren’t able to send out spare parts, as we don’t keep extra components in stock. Our shoes are not produced here, which means we don’t have access to individual items such as clasps or laces.

Had a really bad experience with customer service not taking responsibility for a clear defect of the shoes we have bought from a third party retailer. The sole of the shoes fell apart after 5 times wearing it. Understand the responsibility lies with the store that have sold the shoes but clearly from the pictures I have provided, there’s a quality issue on the product that a serious brand would take responsibility for and provide to send a new pair of shoes. It shows the lack of professionalism and product quality, It’s a shame because the brand would have potential, I will spend my money elsewhere in the future.

We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our customer service. We do, however, have a clear procedure when it comes to complaints about shoes purchased through our retailers, and this is the same practice followed by other companies as well.
If you wish to make a complaint about a pair of shoes, the claim must go through the store where the shoes were purchased. The retailer is responsible for handling this process and will assist you further. Since your shoes were not purchased directly from us, we referred you to the retailer, as they are the ones who can process your claim.
We have already expressed our gratitude for being made aware of your experience, as it helps us monitor similar cases in the future. Unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do from our side in this situation.

I've been ordering for my kids from them for the last two years. Most of their shoes are solid enough to be worn by both kids, which is a big plus considering the price. However, the rain boots tend to not survive the season. The kids love the vibrant colors and patterns. Their description of the size and fit are always spot on.
Winter or Summer, Bisgaard Shoes are stylish and comfortable. Not only for Kids :-) Bisgaard is the brand that has accompanied us for the last 6 years and we are very satisfied with the quality, fit and comfort.
I love this brand and have been buying since my little could walk. They are very true to size and are very durable. It also helps that the designs are super adorable 🥰
