I had high hopes for receiving 100 cds…
I had high hopes for receiving 100 cds that actually played, but 13 of them didn't work and many others didn't start at the beginning of track one. I called them (sometime in December) to express my dissatisfaction and the woman who I spoke with said she would make it right by re-doing the order (probably just to appease me in the moment) but I received nothing and never heard from them again. Not a good way do business.
Bison Disc is the best I am extremely happy
I just received my CDs back from Bison Disc they done a fantastic job this was My second time using them for My music CDs The staff there is very friendly and helpful I had no problems, and they shipped out my order on time as promised Thank you Sandi and all for the wonderful job y'all have done I am blown away at how good they look and sound.
Charges money for everything possible
Super greedy
First, the minimum amount of CDs you can get is 25.
it's 20¢ each for shrink wrap which already is 5 dollars extra
the minimum amount you will pay is ATLEAST $100
The biggest thing is that depending on where you live (US) for economy shipping is at minimum $22.43
so if you got $100 or more to spend only on 25 CDs then, go ahead, otherwise, don't waste your money.
Bison Disc Saves The Day…
I was working with a different company that did not make deadline. I had to go to a very important event in Madrid, and wanted to bring the CDs for the project. I had 2 days before leaving. I went ahead and took a risk with Bison and I am so glad I did. In one day they prepared everything and the next day the project was delivered. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was and how wonderfully everyone on the team treated me. They were very caring and a big shout out to Tanisha for her eagle eye making sure everything turned out perfectly. A+++ all the way. Thank you!!!! Bison disc rocks!
I've not yet recieved my product yet
I've not yet recieved my product yet, and would likely have given 5 stars had it shipped when promised. A ship date I was given a week ago was changed to 6 days later and I wasn't told until I called to ask where my order was. Most of my communications with the company have been good: calls taken, emails answered. But this delay has caused me to have to reschedule a playback party. I will edit or re-write this review upon receipt and evaluation of my product.
UPDATE:
Today, April 3, was the SECOND promised ship date for my order. I have recieved no confirmation either by email or telephone nor Fedex track number as promised today. Therefore my rating has now gone down one star to three, and will go down one star for every day my order is not shipped. If I don't have a confirmation by Thursday, it's NO stars and I will drive to Orlando to get my order in person.
My recent September Order
On my recent single, they screwed up my cd registration data and refused to fix it, I was hung up on phone calls and emails not returned, the customer is always right, take a crash course of Dale Carnegie bison disc crew, pitiful customer service, I will get my money back. Run away from this motley bunch
I strongly recommend this company 5stars all the way!!!! Sandy has been super helpful, there is virtually no wait time when calling them & they have answered all my questions promptly 100% satisfied!!
I 100% reccomend this company over discmakers!!!! Sandy has been super helpful throughout the ordering process. There is virtually no wait time at
Bison Disc Came through for Me
I had a great experience with Bison Disc. They got my CDs to me quickly and they're beautiful. I did pay for one-day production. But I changed my mind about my artwork and submitted new artwork, which delayed production by one day. They still came through and got the CDs to me when I needed them. Will kept me informed all along the way, which I appreciated. I would use them again.
10/10 will use again
Great company, professional and knowledgeable associates. Large order for us (1500) 6 panel cases with inserts. Fast turn around, quality product, will be using again very soon!
10/10

I used Bison Disc to make music CD's…
I used Bison Disc to make music CD's for a memorial service. Every person involved was professional, compassionate and efficient. I received the shipment and the final product is perfect, very professional looking and the cost was very reasonable.
Very poor customer servicethey suck
Very poor customer service! It doesn’t get any worse than this!
BISON DISC IS GREAT!
I am very satisfied the service Bison Disc has provided for me and my band, storyesque. I placed my order of CD's in jackets on 4/12/19 and received my order just 12 days later. My items came beautiful and pristine, exceeding my expectations! Bison Disc team members such as Will and Bonnie both communicated with me promptly and professionally via email and made sure that I was taken care of to the "T". Initially it was their wonderfully affordable prices that lured me in. But it was their sincere service that that has convinced me that it won't be long until I return to place a second and possibly even a THIRD batch in the near future. Thank you Bison Disc!
Do NOT use this company ever!
Do NOT, under any circumstances, use Bison Disc for your work! I had the WORST experience I have ever had working with a company and would NEVER use them or recommend them again. Their customer service is non-existent. They outsource their work to China (no American made here!) and they don’t even come close to meeting deadlines (how about 3 weeks late? Oh, and if you ask why or what happened with your order or where it is, you won’t get a response. They just won’t answer your phone calls anymore (try from a different number and they’ll stop answering that too). Forget email. I’m guessing they just delete them. Take the time to read the negative reviews that are out there- I don’t doubt they are all true. Then run far, far away and pick another company. Want details from my experience- keep reading.
I placed an order for 100 flash drives - they were gifts to the 5th graders at our school from the PTO and contained a video of photos of all the students over the years. John told me that the order would take 7 days once in was received. I mailed the original to him and once he confirmed that he had received it, he sent me a link to make a payment. I paid $477 on my credit card. John also sent me the proof that day and I approved the one that I thought looked better. This was May 3rd. Then I have no idea what happened.
I heard NOTHING from the company for the next 2 weeks. Then on May 15th, Katie, who I’d never dealt with, sent me an email asking me to approve a proof. It was the EXACT same one that John had sent me May 3rd. I once again confirmed which one I wanted. Katie informed me that I approved a “draft proof” and that the “REAL proof” takes more time. When I asked her about the 7 days that John had quoted me, she stated that USB’s take 12-14 days from proof approval. I wanted the drives by May 22nd, but she told me that would never happen. Had they actually done the work starting May 3rd, I would have had them in time. But they didn’t. When I mentioned using someone else, Katie and John both “guaranteed” me that I would have the order IN MY HANDS by May 30th. I was willing to believe them. What a mistake.
May 21st I got another email from Katie asking what color I wanted the writing on the drives to be. I’d already approved (TWICE!) the writing in black. May 30th rolls around and of course, I haven’t heard a peep from them. That was my mistake not to call them a few days in advance. When I get in touch with them on the 30th, Katie emails me that my order was shipped that morning and I would get a tracking number later in the day. This is where it gets ugly. I call to complain that they failed to meet their “Guarantee” and I want to know where my shipment is and when it will arrive. Katie has no tracking number and says she’ll find out and get back to me. If they had overnighted the shipment, I would still be ok and could pass the drives out the last day of school. But I don’t hear back from Katie until I get an email May 31st that has an invalid tracking number on it. Now when I try to call, Katie won’t answer the phone. So I have an administrative assistant at the school call. Katie repeats the invalid number and after that won’t take any calls from our school either. We try calling the main number to the company and are told that the internet is down and they’ll get back to us when they can. Needless to say, no one gets back to us. I went back home and tried the “chat with us” button on their website and low and behold, they answer! But when I give my name, Bonnie tells me in a harshly worded response that “John has already informed you that our internet is down and he will contact you when it’s back up.” So now I’m out $477 with nothing to show for it. And not a single person at the company can explain to me what’s been going on with my order since May 3rd. No one knows where it is or what happened to it. The company has essentially blocked my phone, my school’s phone and doesn’t answer any emails. They refuse to give me any answers, explanations, apologies or won’t even acknowledge that they messed up somewhere. I know things happen. People make mistakes. But to not respond to a customer is ridiculous. I have never had such horrible customer service in my life.
June 1st I still haven’t heard from Bison despite repeated promises. They still won’t answer my phone when I call again. The admin calls again. They still won’t answer her either. We try the tracking number again and it finally shows up- our package is in CHINA!!!!!! I’m pretty sure that the quickest way from Florida to Illinois is NOT through China. So either they really screwed up, or they outsourced the job to China. The UPS info said the order shipped on 6/1 from Shenzhen, China. Now I’m furious. I can’t have photos of kids somewhere in China where who knows what might happen to them. Still no response from Bison.
If I ever receive my order our school’s PTO is going to have to come up with the money to mail out each individual drive. It’s going to easily cost us $100. What a complete waste of resources. If I don’t get them, I’ll be disputing my credit card bill and will get my money back. I can’t believe anyone would work with this company. All of their quotes on the website about having such great customer service is a bunch of garbage. No explanations, no apologies, no attempt to make things right. They only blocked my phone number and refused to answer my emails. Worst service ever.
It was my first time producing a music …
It was my first time producing a music CD and had no real idea where to start. I worked mostly with Sandy Cleevely by e-mail and my wife spoke directly with her when we requested to contact by phone. When the process dragged out, it was my fault not theirs and every communication with them was quick and professional. I paid exactly what they quoted , received exactly what was promised, (maybe even better than promised) and received it when they scheduled delivery, If I come up with 14 more songs I will definitely go back to Bison and have already recommended them to several fellow musicians. Can't say enough good things about working with Sandi and her crew.
Danger!....Beware of this shady company! Run far, far away!!!!!!
I first called Bison Disc around Monday, July 17 and spoke to Sandi Cleeveley, the President of the company. I told her that I wanted them to design a cover for a project and wanted a certain number of finished CDs. The designer, Bonnie, sent the first draft, which was nice, but there were some changes that I wanted made because I was not completely satisfied with the design. For $125(normally $250 but Sandi said they were running a 50% off special), I would only get 3 rounds of corrections. I sent 2 rounds of corrections through emails, but still wasn't satisfied and wanted to speak directly to Bonnie, the designer, by phone so I could clarify any misunderstandings about the changes . Sandi intercepted and would not let me speak to Bonnie directly. She kept saying to just email the corrections to Bonnie. But only having one more try to get it right before being charged another $35-$40, I needed to communicate the changes to Bonnie directly over the phone. On Friday, July 21, I kept calling Sandi and Bonnie so that we could wrap up the revisions by 5:00 pm that day so that we could have the project done in time. But they ignored my calls and emails. So I sent another email over the weekend to Bonnie with some corrections, hoping to be able to speak with her on Monday morning.
Up to this point, Sandi had not exhibited acceptable customer care. She was very impatient, rude and short with me, to put it mildly. On Monday morning, July 24, I began to call Bison to talk to Bonnie to wrap up the design, but she would not answer my calls. I received an email from Bonnie about 10 am that morning saying that when Sandi came into the office that morning, she and Sandi would discuss my project and would call me. (For the life of me, I don't understand why Sandi would not allow me to talk directly to Bonnie, the designer. Sandi had to be present with Bonnie and put me on speaker phone when she spoke with me. I was never irate, never lost my temper with Bonnie. It was only when Sandi got involved that everything went south because of her obnoxiousness!)
Finally about 10:45 Monday morning , Sandi called me while present with Bonnie. I was able to communicate clearly with Bonnie and got everything settled, so I thought....Then the fireworks began!!! I told Sandi that I didn't need the 250 CDs like I had originally said, but wanted only 100. (I have the right as a customer to change my mind. Bison had taken $348.89, out of my checking account on July 20 by debit card. I had only paid half of the $697 amount as originally quoted.) Sandi went berserk on me! She began to raise her voice, trying to pressure me into purchasing the entire almost $700 worth of CDs. She put me on hold, we got disconnected. She called me back very irritated and angry and very clearly stated that she would just cancel the entire order and refund my $348.89 that they had drafted out of my checking account. I then offered to buy the number of CDs that would add up to the $348.89 amount that I had already paid for. She refused! Then I offered to buy just the design. She refused again and soon there after hung up on me!
That was almost a month ago. I have emailed twice since then asking about my refund and have not received any response from Bison. I then called Bison on Monday, Aug 14 to talk to someone about my refund. John, (I think Sandi's husband) answered. (Apparently it's a family run business...Sandi is President, John is CEO and sons, Vice Presidents.) John answered and was obnoxious and rude from the get go! He wouldn't let me state my case. He told me he would send me the design cover they made. I told him I didn't need it because when Sandi refused to sell it to me 3 weeks earlier, I had to pay another company to design a cover and pay extra expedited shipping to receive the project in time. John angrily raised his voice at me and said "Don't ever call this number again!!!" Then he hung up on me!
Believe me, I never plan to call Bison again! Side note, the other company, Easy Disc, that ultimately produced my project from beginning to end finished it in 3 days without any trouble. They were professional, prompt and polite and treated me with utmost respect, like every customer should be treated. In short, they were the antithesis of Bison.
I will NEVER, NEVER use Bison Disc again, nor would I ever recommend Bison to my worst enemy!!!! Bison has no customer service ethic. When you don't do things their way, they become angry and hang up on you!
The problem is they still have my $348.89, with no design, or cd project to show for it! After having been treated like dirt by Sandi and John Cleeveley, they now refuse to refund my money, in essence stealing $348.89 from me!!! Please don't EVER do business with Bison! You will regret ever calling them if you want a job well done and want kind, excellent customer service! Run FAR, FAR away!!!!
Helpful, Friendly and Fast
I had a mastered, ready to go original music CD that got held up by slow, irresponsible band members. So, I took it upon myself to get the project done. I found Bison Disc online. First good thing, they accommodated the number of discs I wanted to duplicate. Second good thing, a wide selection of packaging options. Only Bison would do the number of discs in the packaging I wanted for a competitive price. Easy step by step instructions about submitting materials. After that, the Bison Rep provided friendly guidance to my graphic artist; I didn't do the artwork, but was told the guidance was helpful and timely. The template choices were very good. The proofs came quickly, and we still had to make a change at that point, and it was no big deal to make the adjustment. Finally, the CDs arrived exactly when I was told they would. Best of all, the quality of the CD -- EXCELLENT! The wallet had great colors & photos, a creative layout, and the CD plays professional sound. Every project is unique and personal, and Bison Disc treated it that way. VMG, Long Island
What a terribly run company..
I originally reached out to Bison Disc because I saw they were local and figured when I order a bigger batch of discs I could just pick them up and save the money. Well convenience lead to a terrible transaction. The women I originally spoke to, Ilene was great on the phone but apparently promised things the company doesn't do anymore. Not only was the product not what we wanted, but it was poor quality. We called to fix the issue and explained the issue. They requested a picture (How stupid are you to request a picture of Print quality? They obviously know nothing about print..), but sure we went ahead and sent the comically requested picture. After that, we called several times, straight to voicemail. After leaving a nasty Voice message out of frustration we get an email that gave us no progress.. Then finally a callback from her boss John... Now he just doesn't understand the word customer service. He was rude and egotistical. "We know what we are talking about." Yea... that's why you requested a picture of the product.. Genius! It’s not like I've worked in print for years or something, o wait.. I have.. Anyway... this lead to an uneventful phone call which lead to speaking with them again. We called and spoke to a Ruth. She knows how to speak on the phone with a customer and was fantastic! Sadly, her boss is that John guy. Yea the guy who "knows what he’s talking about". So this lead to us speaking to John again, which was quite a ridiculous conversation that ended with "We won’t refund your money or fix the product and we are reporting you to The BBB(Better Business Bureau). HA!! Reporting a customer to BBB? Yea this guy knows his stuff alright! (That was sarcasm in case John is reading this and is starting to get lost because this is too long for him to read.) I have gone ahead and reported Bison to the BBB (Because that is how BBB works, not the other way around...), and now I write this review to help any other customer unsure of this site. Don't waste your time here, there are better and cheaper options.
Happy with my product, and received great service!
I had a great experience creating my CD through Bison Disc. Ruth was always helpful in assisting me throughout the process. I was able to find an affordable option which looks and sounds great. The only thing I would change is that I wish meta-data appeared automatically when you play the disc on a computer. Overall, I'm appreciative for a great experience with a satisfying final product.
Unprofessional
Had call from this place because of a online quote, explained my whole schedule and availability. Was promised 100 copies by the 26th with a lot of hoops to jump, reason I wanted to make sure, Ruth who took my order such a sweet person until the week before the dead line. It seemed more like a sales call than a company who provides the costumer service a costumer requires. Soon after out of frustration due that cd's were promised I get a 140 dollar extra fee to expedite, sure I agree and tell them I will make a review about the bad service, Sandy Cleeveley calls me telling me they will cancel my order because I said what seemed a "threat" to her. It's the 21st century, people make complaints for bad service, if you cant take it don't make fake promises. Never ordering anything from this place. Now I don't have CD's and a bad, terrible experience with this place.
Oh and the reply, now I get called a liar. I don't need to lie, what I need is 100 copies by the weekend. Go to yelp reviews check other peoples reviews. No need to lie.
