Excellent Course

I attended the course a week before my exam. I passed my exam with excellent score. It was very well organised course, good cases, not too difficult but more focussed on common cases in exam. All cases had a tutor to guide us through our mistakes. It wasn't exhausting as well as we had adequate time between each case. Must recommended course for final revision. Thank you guys.

A 1-day crash course to be attended preferably by those who are well versed with examination techniques already. There is no teaching regarding that. Altogether a well-organised course, although I couldn’t get proper feedback from a couple of examiners due to general lack of time, hence the 4 stars.

I think this course was really worth the money. It was a short course one day course and I would recommend it to people who already have some know how about the exam and its pattern and just want to get a simulation of the actual exam or alternatively want a warm up to boost their PACES preparation (as it can take a while to get into that mindset for preparing if you have already attempted the exam in a previous diet). This course was ideal for me as it was a one day (easy to get leave and arrange accommodation etc and budget friendly). The course is divided into morning and afternoon session with seeing cases in the morning and a mock carousel in the evening. You would be paired with one person with one person performing the station and other observing, whilst both can hear/appreciate the finding at the end. They also offer a two person discount so if you and your friend want to attend together you get 50/- off and its good to have a friend/colleague who can provide you with reliable feedback on your clinical methods). The facilitators were majorly well experienced and good with feedback. I took the course about 3 weeks before my actual exam date. I thoroughly enjoyed the course as it was good learning for me. The only thing I would suggest for a change is that if the time per station could be increased to 6 minutes rather than 5, would be nice, although clearly this would increase the total duration of the course.

Excellent course

Excellent course. I do recommend this course for all who are preparing for PACES. You will get the chance to examine the patient under exam condition. The number of candidate per patient is 2:1. You will also have some mock stations. All cases have signs. The course will improve your presentation skills and also how to pick up the clinical signs. Feedback will be given for every patient. At the end of the day you will be seeing at least 26 patients. Good luck all

Excellent

2 candidates per patient was an excellent idea.
There was less time for the instructor to give feedback.
Is there a possibility to give a written note about the patient signs when candidate js leaving as 5 min per patient was less for two candidates to pick up on findings.
