Their website is not that user-friendly. It's easy to use.
I opened an account months ago. I had completely forgot until I got email to say I am now verified bit late now. Will never use it.
2nd of June 2017 I've register at Bitrex.com with only purpose to buy 10 Monero XMR coins. I've uploaded $100 and obtained around 10 coins. My fault was that I didn't login into account since initial registration and this small purchase. Once I've tried to login April 2021 I found that account was either removed or blocked. No chance to access. Their tech instructions lead me to recreate NEW account which erased my previous account. As a result 10 Monero coins equivalent of $3200 today has gone, or stolen, or whatever.
It was my investment and I followed my friend's wise advice. Bitrex got another opinion about it and seize it!
So the same scammer exchange as many.
I wouldn’t use bittrex again they froze my account asking to prove where funds where from because I didn’t make the purchase though them I used local Bitcoin to buy then use bittrex to trade post a whole load of money from not trading because my account was frozen until I was able to prove it to them they are thieves I wouldn’t trust them if I were you
DO NOT USE. They are con men who make it next to impossible to withdraw funds. Here is what they asked me to do AFTER I had sent my passport and gone through their on site verification:
Provide a proof of identity. Please attach 3 images of you holding your government-issued ID so we can match your face against the picture displayed on the ID. Also, write "Bittrex Global" and today's date on a piece of paper and hold it in the images. The text on your ID must be legible in at least one of the photos.
Here are some guidelines to help you take a perfect valid image:
The paper must have "Bittrex Global" and today's date (both handwritten)
All text on both the ID and the paper must be legible and free of blur, glare, or obstruction
Your face, shoulders, and arms must be visible
The paper and the ID must both be visibly held in your hands in all 3 of the images, they can not be attached to each other or any other surface.
All text must be read from left to right, the image cannot be mirrored or flipped in any way.
This cryptocurrency exchange platform is not worth anyone's time. After my experience with them, I won't recommend it to anyone. Their support is awful
Agreed with the previous review, registering here is a pain and it's just awful. Skip this exchange at all costs.
