It's great

It's great. Quick change, long talk time.. only is the ear part can hurt your ears.. if it was more circle and not oval, it would be better to cover majority of your ear. I definitely would recommend and purchase this item again.

Awesome service

The headsets are awesome and i am using it from quite a while and recommend to my fellow colleagues and they have bought 4 sets. There was a hardware issue with the headphones and when i reach out to the support team. They were helpful, polite, accessible and quick in sorting my issue. I would highly recommend Black&gray to everyone👌👌

Self proclaimed best review you will get..lol

1st off... im not a bot... I dont work for the company, im not AI generated or none of that.. I'm a 47 year old regular owner operator truck driver from south Texas thats been trucking since 2005... here's my experience:

(This is going to be long and might have some mistakes in spelling or what not because im not going to proofread before I hit send and its 6:45am.... scroll down to the last paragraph for the summary)

History: over the years I've Had 2 or 3 BlueParrot 450... 2 BlueParrot 550 and 2 BlueParrot 650.... great headsets but they were too expensive for them to not be that durable. But to my knowledge BlueParrot was the best on the market... I was just about to purchase another BlueParrot 650 and Black and Gray kept coming up on on my FB newsfeed.... I was skeptical... took close to a month to final pull the trigger and try it out.... figured if I didnt like it... I'll just return it.

I bought the B&G earpiece and the headset that looks like what a DJ would use that covers both ears.... not the 1 that looks like what a defensive coordinator uses that covers only 1 ear.

Earpiece review: 10/10 would recommend... no debate about that... no discussion needed... get yall one.

This is my comment on a few of their videos: "Ive been BlueParrot for years.. .. they never did last... I have 5 of them that stopped working. Waa about to buy my 6th.... they, to my knowledge were top of the line.... until the ads kept popping up on my timeline for the Black and White... took over a month to decide to go ahead and get 2 of them... 1 earpiece and the one with the double ear covers.... today is day one... all my buddies have blue parrot... so im talking mess to them " grow up, get your headset up... nobody wears blue parrot anymore."...etc. .. I took the headset off this morning and put it next to the motor..... they couldn't hear it ....so im talking more mess.

They kept saying that I sounded muffled..... clear... but muffled like I was away from the phone. I figured they were just hating.... until 4 more people got in on our group, I asked them how do I sound?... and all of them said the exact same thing.... they are making jokes the whole time... "huh? .... huh?....cant hear you... take that bs headset back"...smh

My review.... noise canceling A++... lightweight A++..... clearness on hearing A+..... but the deal breaker is the microphone... I give it capital G for grade A Garbagè.... they cant hear me on their end and u cant bend the microphone closer to your mouth like the blue parrot....just up and down..... because of that.... I will be returning it and going back to the blue parrot. .... keeping the earpiece... but returning the headset."

Unexpectedly... someone from their team inboxed me and basically cared about my lil old comment and wanted to maje it right... after back and forth... they/we decided for them to send me another headset to make sure I just didnt get a bad headset because the other reviews that I've seen was opposite of what I experienced.

That headset came in on thursday... my 1st time using it was friday 4/4/2026... this is what I wrote my updated review back to the person on the B&G team:

"Ok... update..... they didnt notice the difference.... until I told them... 1 said "because we already used to u sounding like that" .... but Monday thru Thursday I was wearing the earpiece all day.... this time we were at the same location so I swapped his blue parrot with my B&G so I could hear how it sounded on his end.... it sounds different but I wouldn't say bad. Then I swapped to the original B&G.... that does sound more muffled than the 1 yall just sent.

My new comparison review:

Noise cancelation - 8.5/10

Volume - 8.5/10

Microphone - 10/10

Weight - 8/10

Versatility of headset - 10/10

Range (away from phone) - 7/10

Customer service - 5/10

Noise cancelation - 10/10

In conclusion..... ive decided to keep the newer headset that yall sent me... I appreciate that.... the mic is not as crisp and clear like a BP, but its not bad like the original one... 1st one had to be a dud.... I like the way the speakers sound...you can hear the music when you take the headset off...BP it was low.

I will be editing and updating my review in the comment sections when they pop up or if I can find them."

In summary.... overall.... In my opinion ... there is a new sherriff in town, B&G has kicked BlueParrot out of the #1 spot for trucker headsets.... follow me on TikTok LaawdP

This headset is trash

This headset is trash. I ordered from one of these ads and my package came from Kevin not Black & Gray, all the buttons don't work and there's no app for setup like the Blue Parrot. I'm glad I didn't pay much for it. As a trucker, im just gonna stick with the Parrot. Doesn't feel cheap, has an app for easy setup and features and never let's me down. Much easier to use, more user friendly and has better handsfree functionality.
