Great way to spend an afternoon
Our group of 4 ladies had such a good time learning to make pottery and decorating a mug in the lovely rustic looking workshop. Babs was a great teacher as none of us had ever tried this before (Of course she made it look so easy!). She was extremely patient and helpful while being friendly and chatty at the same time.
After our pottery making we stopped for coffee/tea and the most beautiful scones with jam & cream and brownies!
We then went back to the workshop to decorate our mugs under the watchful eye of Babs who again helped us if needed and gave lots of encouragement.
Our glazed and fired pieces (included in the price) will be ready to collect in the next couple of weeks, which we are looking forward to seeing.
It was such a great way to spend an afternoon and we would highly recommend it.
Tip : Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting splattered with pottery clay or dirty water! Definitely don't wear the new white adidas trainers you just bought (one of my friends).

Wholesome, relaxed, enjoyable
The most wholesome, relaxed, enjoyable afternoon trying a beautiful new craft, eating delicious cake and lots of chat and laughter. Babs is absolutely brilliant at what she does, a beautiful person and stunning location!

Gorgeous wholesome afternoon
We had the best afternoon over at Blackheath. Babs is so passionate about pottery and was very patient and kind throughout our session. We had a relaxing, fun couple of hours learning to throw clay, eating delicious cake and mug painting with lots of laughs throughout. Would recommend to anyone!
