Bad traffic control

Do not go to the current flower show that's on, taking over an hour to get out of the show due to no traffic control whatsoever. It's not even rush hour traffic time! Can only get worse.

Fantastic experience

I really enjoyed my visit to Blenheim Palace. The interior has so many interesting features and displays, and the audio guide is concise and informative. It is clear that the whole Palace is carefully curated to provide the best experience to visitors.
The Parks and Gardens are gorgeous as well. It’s a nice place to relax after walking through the Palace.

As wedding photographers

As wedding photographers, we had the opportunity to capture a beautiful wedding at Blenheim Palace. The venue itself was nothing short of spectacular, with its 18th century baroque architecture, landscaped parkland, and award-winning formal gardens serving as a stunning backdrop for the photographs.

The events team at Blenheim Palace were top-notch and provided an outstanding service to the bride and groom. They worked closely with the couple to create a bespoke wedding package that was tailored to their specific dream wedding requirements. It was clear that the events team had a wealth of experience and knowledge when it came to planning and executing weddings at the venue.

While wedding related photography and videography were exclusive to those getting married at Blenheim Palace, it was disappointing to hear that professional portrait, engagement, pre-wedding or wedding day photography were not permitted in the courtyards, palace, gardens, or grounds. However, we understand the need to preserve the exclusivity for the couples who choose to share their special day at the venue.

Overall, we were truly impressed by Blenheim Palace as a wedding venue and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a magnificent setting for their big day. For more information about the venue options, capacity, prices, and more, we would encourage anyone interested to reach out to the events team and start planning their wedding at Blenheim Palace.

Kindest regards,
The Kensington Photographers

Not as good as previous years

Visited for 3rd year running and was disappointed as wasn’t as good as previous years. It seemed a shorter trail with less impressive lights.Previous years had more breath taking lights that were set to more evocative
Music. There were less light changing displays that were set to dramatic music. Some
Displays were really lame like the penguins or fairy lights twinkling
On and off. Nothing on the lake either. Even the light display on the main house wasn’t as impressive as last year which was so dramatic and spell bounding. This year they spent a lot of time with a naff cartoon car driving to sites in the UK - not sure what that had to do with Christmas. Only took c 45
Mins to go
Round. Expensive for what it was. Not sure we’ll bother next year.

A fantastic afternoon visit

We had a fantastic afternoon visiting the Kingdom of the Snow Queen. It was amazing. All the staff were very helpful and accessibility for my daughter who is in a wheelchair was great. Special thanks to the lady driving the shuttle.

Great winter experience

My wife and I purchased tickets to the house and light trail. Yes, as some mentioned the tickets are a little expensive but no one is forced to purchase them. Having been it’s fair to see the value as the cost of the decoration and lighting I cannot imagine!

These was a good and varied outdoor Christmas market and lots of lovely food stalls. We chose to eat in the conservatory, food was good and reasonably priced too.

The effort and detail in the house was incredible, very tasteful and impressive. Equally the light trail was great to walk around too.

All staff we encountered were very welcoming and polite, overall a great experience.

We visited Blenheim and made the most…

We visited Blenheim and made the most of our visit by going to the Christmas market, had afternoon tea and then visited the lights. We had a fabulous time and staff were brilliant and so cheerful despite the cold!, my daughter is a wheelchair user and everything was very accessible- special praise for Steve who helped find a lost phone!! (Wish the shuttle ran later but was lovely that everything else was open all day). We loved the lights and will make a return visit next year!

Exorbitant cost, avoid.

If I could give a zero I would. Because of the Christmas decorations we couldn’t see any of the cabinets. No information guide.
The only other interesting exhibit was the Churchill rooms apart from the beautiful grounds.
At over £30 a head it is seriously not worth it. If I had wanted to see that much tinsel I would have gone to Poundland.

Totally agree with negative comments…

Totally agree with negative comments regards ticket company Bleinham owners employ. SEE Tickets have an awful maze called Customer Service. Having experienced awful service regards already bought tickets for Nocturne concert tickets in 2020 that were cancelled due to Covid going to Bleinham ever again is a huge NO! Monies for concerts were held onto by Bleinham and reacheduled tickets bought by Disabled Guests for 2021 were disgracefully handled. Being one of these holders for 3 Concerts , I , like many others had to prove again entitlement even though they had our money for over 12 months. They made no effort to contact ALL these Disabled Guests instead they left it to the purchaser to contact them and then drop the bombshell. Not very good when there statement was you would receive ticket electronically. So like many people they sat waiting for an E Mail that was never going to arrive. There lack of investmant in an Admin Team using Covid as an excuse meant you were still trying to access your ticket on event day! I expect the Management at Bleinham, Nocturne and SEE Tickets happily accepted Furloughing staff at Public Cost then blaming Covid for Disabled Ticket Holders being badly treat and hope they had forgot about concerts. Parties involved had £1000s of fans money who were supportive enough to not request monies back. Only positive thing was refund of monies when Lional Ritchie pulled out. Such an A list star would not want negative press. But you can have negative press because many people who happily paid for tickets in 2020 have been unable to obtain Disabled Tickets for 2023. Now a 2 night show if you look at the standard seating plan thats been used for years the Disabled ticket area has dramitically reduced. These seats now are for standard tickets. Also the price for parking has increased from £10 to £11. Why bother having a link for Blue Badge when you basically charge for every car at same price?? The profit margin for minimal outlay must make you rub your hands with glee and easy to adjust your declared income. Wording the pricing for Bleinham Events is either comical or just down right insulating to the people who spend their hard earnt money. Tonight on TV you promoted your Christmas 2022 at Bleinham. I invite anyone to read SEE Tickets wording regards prices. Firstly as normal the Blue Badge link awards you the same charge as normal parking £10. Amazingly they then waste time wording adult admission as £25 per adult then as if a bargain as £35 including your car. Then theres the Famly ticket -2 Adults 2 Children- but they create a great saving by reducing the adult price but increase the child price! . So you save a massive £4 from purchasing seperately. I know your a business and maintaining Bleinham for future generations is important but please recognise the fact your alienating a large group of possible guests. You pick and choose car parking prices then create false fact that Blue Badge holders will be less using SEE Tickets monopoly game. Stewards employed fail to keep control of ticket areas at concerts. Employing volunteers on car parking then resulting in a trailer trash car park at exit does not warrent a car parking fee. More investment in the Purple Guide for outdoor events is required

Went to Blenheim Palace this morning

Went to Blenheim Palace this morning. Had tickets for the house which has been transformed into the Kingdom of the Snow Queen. We got tickets via SEE tickets. Parking charges apply after 10am. This is really a must see visit. It is absolutely amazing. The staff, as always, are very pleasant and helpful.

Went to Christmas extravaganza…

Went to Christmas extravaganza yesterday , was 15 mins early but lady in car park said we could go in & it didn’t matter, after parking & walking along the long path to entrance was told quite sternly by someone looking at tickets we had to wait 15 mins till our time , pointed out it was raining & we r in our 70’s , so he pointed to a wet bench in the open that we could sit on, also told a lady with small children they had to wait as well, spoke to someone in authority who explained that people 15 mins early try could go in early ,
Later bought some freshly made soup ( from a tin!!)in the conservatory , the soup was served up in cold dish with cold cream swirled in, told waitress the soup was cold she said if any hotter would be scolding and they couldn’t allow that , didn’t seem to think there was a half way house ,
Frankly the decorations were marvellous but vastly over priced

Please don’t use a terrible ticketing…

Please don’t use a terrible ticketing company like See Tickets - their website is designed to deceive, as is their “refund” policy and their “customer service” is a joke.
Blenheim Palace should align itself with better companies who seek to build customer relations and encourage visitors to Blenheim.

An anti social business.

If you have any respect for the people that live in the area near, or even not so near, the palace do not visit. The noise from the really loud music can still be heard when you are well away from the grounds and as we went into Oxford the lights were still visible. The gaudy display of multiple coloured flash lighting is unseemly. Not worth the money and antisocial.

Greedy Blenheim Palace

Total rip off if you have an annual membership and just want a walk in late November or December. Seems you will be charged £12 to park even though you've already paid for the annual membership just because they have a few Christmas huts set up. I've no interest in those - just want to park up and do my usual walk. Will not be renewing and will use the public right of way paths instead in future. At a time when money is tight for us all - Blenheim charging £12 to park is just pure greed.

Place amazing, response to customer dreadful

I think Blenheim Palace it a fantastic place but their ability to respond is woeful. I have sent two emails starting in January - no response to either. One letter - No acknowledgement or response and so finally one letter by recorded delivery which was signed for by "HUB" at 10.57 on Tuesday 17th May. Still no response. If they do not want to answer my query perhaps they could be courteous enough to at least acknowledge receipt.

Wonderful time

Wonderful time, love the maze and getting to see some of the treasures kept within! Also, the water that they bottle on site is top quality!
