Extremely unprofessional experience

Extremely unprofessional experience. The entire process was frustrating from start to finish. You have to deal with multiple different people for ordering, measuring, and installation, which made communication confusing and inefficient.

I placed my order well in advance because I needed installation done by a specific time. Despite paying extra for professional measurement, my roller shades were ordered in the wrong size. Even worse, I had to be the one to follow up and fix their mistake.

On top of that, one of their employees, Latrell, was extremely rude. When I called to reschedule, he talked down to me like it was my fault and then hung up on me mid-conversation, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional (Springfield, VA)

Overall, this was a huge waste of time and energy. I would not recommend this company—you’re honestly better off hiring someone independently or using a marketplace service.

The vertical blinds for my sliding…

The vertical blinds for my sliding glass door are beautiful and enhance my living room decor. The Blinds to Go representative helped me select a color on the inside of the blinds that complements my furniture. I had originally thought I'd choose white, but the store has a fine selection of colors. The price was very reasonable. Both the measuring and installation were done by their professional staff, who did an excellent job in a short time. If you're looking for new blinds, I highly recommend them.

Cellular shade repair

One slat arrived broken with installer

One slat arrived broken with installer. Installer assured me that Blinds to Go would contact me to arrange for a replacement slat. The installer lied as I have yet to hear from Blinds to Go and my “new” blinds have a broken slat.

Blinds to Go The Good and the Bad.

Blinds to Go The Good and the Bad.
Your shades. Good. Installation person EXCELLENT. However, It's impossible to call the store and actually speak with a person. When you leave a message, there is no telling when your call will be returned.
Your online appointment doesn't work in the store or for customers at home.

Blinds to go did replace the mechanism… and the new mechanism worked.

Blinds to go did replace the mechanism above the slats; however, I needed the adjacent blinds converted to the new mechanism. Unfortunately, I could NOT even pay to have the same work done that had been done under warranty. So, I had to get two valences to cover the new and old mechanisms -- and I had to use my engineering skills to make the valence fit over the old blind mechanism. While successful, it was a lot of work.
