I ordered three flower arrangements on December 22 to be delivered to three family members for Christmas. On December 23, I received a message stating that all three arrangements had been delivered to my sister’s house. This was completely false. You then sent a message saying they would be delivered the next day — yet none of my family members received their gifts.

When I reported this, your team admitted the delivery notification had been sent in error. Despite this acknowledgment, the orders were never delivered, and my family did not receive the Christmas gifts I paid for.

Your response to my complaint was as follows:
"Dear Karen, thank you for contacting us. Please be informed that in accordance with our policy, we will not be able to issue a refund for an order that was confirmed, prepared, and sent out for delivery. To maintain your valued patronage, we are happy to provide you with an in-store credit on our website for future purchases. Kindly inform us if you would like us to proceed with this offer. Once again, we thank you for your business with us. Sincerely, Bloomex Team"

Seriously — do you expect me to ever use your company again? A credit is completely unacceptable for a service you failed to provide.

I wish I had read reviews before…

I wish I had read reviews before placing an order. The bouquet that the recipient received looked NOTHING like the one on their website, and was absolutely not worth the cost I paid for it. I was so embarrassed when I was sent a photo of the bouquet I had sent as a Christmas gift, that looked like something you’d pick up at your local grocery store. The e-mail response I got was bizarre - they wrote in the future tense, implying that another bouquet was going to be sent out but I think it was simply a case of whoever wrote the email having very poor grammar. I will never order from them again.

it's a scam!!!!

They advertise on their website they deliver all across Canada same day and next day. I made an order on December 19 and had to pay extra for next day delivery. Paid and order was confirmed for delivery on December 20. An hour late I received an email that they don't deliver same day or next day to most places in Canada and my order would be delivered with a courier on December 22 with a promised delivery date of December 23. They also said, sure to this, they are going to include a complimentary upgrade. They did not specify what that meant and I had already paid extra for the highest upgrade to receive the most flowers with this order. I spent hours trying to reach customer service with no luck. I tried calling, tried their hilarious online chat and even sent them multiple emails to customer service. It has been 7 days since and I have yet to hear back from any of them. The order did not arrive on December 23. It arrived by Purolator on December 24. If you check the Purolator tracking number that arrived with the flowers it had been on their trucks for days. Not surprisingly, the flowers were not fresh, were covered in dirt, looked nothing like the photos and there were very little flowers in the arrangement. I paid extra for more flowers and they also promised a free upgrade. I checked online and found this happens all the time. I should have checked their reviews first. If you have not made a purchase yet, please don't! You are better to flush your money down the toilet. I have no idea how anyone is able to run a business like this and how they are still in business. It's an outright scam and someone only set up this company to steal money from you. The only person who benefits from this is the scum running this business.

3 dozen roses never delivered. Received a credit (refused to provide a refund) second order was not what i had ordered. no refund, no correction, no call. Do not waste time with Bloomex. Worst customer service with zip brand alliance and repeat customers. save your money and do it yourself!

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I wish I could share a photo comparison to speak for itself and reveal how deceitful Bloomex is, but there is no option to provide as part of this review. The order could not be delivered on date specified so they offered to "upgrade" to deluxe for "free". When visiting the recipient I was disgusted to find the order a poor excuse for even a standard bouquet originally ordered, let alone an "upgrade". For $49, this is a complete scam. I will never order from Bloomex again and widely share my experience in hopes of preventing others from making the same mistake. I encourage all others with similar experiences involving false advertising to report to the Better Business Bureau as well. This is not an acceptable business practice.

Wrong order

I recently ordered a floral basket to be delivered to my daughter. Two days later, a basket was delivered to my daughter, but it wasn’t even close to what I had ordered. I sent a note under “contact us” on the website, but never received a response. Won’t ever order again from Bloomex.

if I could rate it a zero stars I would. I ordered flowers for family that was supposed to be delivered on a specific day they switched the day to which I emailed no and that I wanted a refund. they never replied and delivered on said day ( I was NOT home or available ) flowers sat outside apartment for 8* hours to when I was home. they were wilted and falling off. this is expensive to pay for flowers that are like this. customer service Is poor and isn’t willing to help or refund. when it was they’re doing for my disatisfaction. I will not be ordering from or recommending this company ever again

Buyer Beware Do not order from this company!

I ordered 3 deluxe sympathy bouquets for family members. Although I was fully aware the bouquets may be slightly different due to available flowers, they are very grossly misrepresented. I upgraded to the deluxe as they said I’d receive 6 more stems than the regular 24 stems. Well the bouquets didn’t even have the minimum 24 premium stems as indicated. Each bouquets cost me $138. I sent photos of the bouquets to the company and they said they were up to their standards and they saw no issues with what was delivered. They clearly don’t stand behind their products and services. Call a local flower store directly in the city you are having them delivered to.

DISHONEST!
Paid $122 for a Christmas table centrepiece with flowers and candles. Was sent a small bouquet of daisies with a few roses and filler, worth $30-$40 tops. Called to sort it out and was told they were short on inventory so made a swap. Pointed out the obvious price difference and was told they don’t give refunds. Sent me a $20 coupon to buy from them again lol TERRIBLE AND DISHONEST COMPANY - BUY ELSEWHERE!

Horrible experience

Bloomex doesn’t even deserve 1 star. They made a substitution (a WAY cheaper bouquet) and then when delivered they didn’t notify me at all of the delivery so the flowers died outside in the cold. When I asked customer service about a refund they told me they would only offer in store credit and would hang up on me if I didn’t take it. Worse experience ever. They’re a scam company stealing peoples money and giving out cheap products for a high price.

a disappointing bouquet to receive

We received a floral arrangement from Bloomex for our family member's funeral. The arrangement arrived in time, but was of a very low quality. Greenery was wilted or dried out and curling. Several blooms were wilted or in such bad condition we ended up throwing them out (mini-carnations, snapdragon). The arrangement itself was shoved into a very cheap plastic container, with what looked like scraps of dried-out greenery stuck in as filler. We were left wondering if the company used discarded flowers for this bouquet.

Expensive con/crap product

Wow! These guys should get five stars for running such a bad business. I’ve been using them for a couple of years now since interflora stopped delivering to Vancouver Island. The person I sent flowers to is an elderly relative who didn’t want to tell me until now what bad stuff they had been delivering to her. I am totally shocked that over the past two years I’ve been sending crap to my relatives without knowing. She told me they have a very bad reputation in Canada. I had no clue. I just thought they were the interflora equivalent. It’s disheartening that they have been taking my money and delivering rubbish. How do these guys sleep at night. I guess that’s what you get when there’s no competition. An utter disgrace!

Horrible execution and inability to give useful information

Horrible execution. 5 days past promised date. No updates. Bot on website does not respond. Human CSRs keep getting "disconnected".

They keep saying it will be delivered "soon" but cannot say whether that is hours, days or weeks.

Bloomex is a huge disappointment

Bloomex is a huge disappointment. I ordered, in advance, 7 arrangements with poinsettias for delivery last Wednesday to be used for a party the next day. Each pot was much much smaller than described and I was charged $15 delivery for each pot. The total came to $334. Most of the flowers were wilted. I had to prune them and remove branches to make them hold up for the party. DO NOT TRUST THEIR PRODUCTS - DEFINITELY BUY ELSEWHERE.
