I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Bloomex in December 2025. I ordered three Christmas arrangements to be sent to family in Saskatchewan, two for Regina and one for Saskatoon. The two Regina deliveries were the ones with the issues. Neither of the two were what I had ordered off the Bloomex website, and both arrived with the plants frozen and upturned in the containers. I learned that both Regina deliveries came from North Battleford, at least four hours away, and had obviously been in the delivery van (Purolator) overnight, this in a prairie winter with -30 degree temperatures. It was a nightmare trying to contact anyone at customer service, and I was not able to speak with anyone other than the telephone operators. I was not offered a refund as the order had been “shipped and delivered.” I was offered a credit or a replacement gift basket. I was eventually able to have two gift baskets sent as replacements for the flowers. It took until the middle of January to have it sorted out. It was a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Missed delivery to funeral

We had ordered a large arrangement for my brothers funeral.
It didn’t arrive and they offered to deliver it the next day.
They then offered only a credit.
Absolutely garbage company avoid at all costs.

Apparently Bloomex can't deliver plants/flowers in Winter.

I ordered my mom a Christmas planter basket for Christmas as I was not going to make it home this year. Although she received delivery on time, instead of receiving a plant basket, she got a box full of cookies. When I called Bloomex to find out what happened, he told me they had sent me an email to let me know they were changing the order because it was cold outside. I've sent lots of flowers and planter baskets in Winter before with no issue. I checked my email while I was on the phone with customer service. I never got such an email. I did however get lots of advertising emails hoping I would spend more money with this crappy company. He also told me that there was nothing he could do to make it right. So, I will make it right myself by using another company from now on.
Since my mother spends a month before Christmas baking, the cookie basket was ridiculous and quite frankly, I think she was offended.
I ordered this basket on the 17th of December and the service rep said the email was sent on the 24th. (Day of delivery) So, why then, since I didn't respond to the non-existent email couldn't someone have called and spoken to me. Must be because I would probably request a refund.

Bait and switch flowers

Lots of email updates and flowers were delivered on time- in the middle of a blizzard to boot. But what was delivered is NOT what I ordered. Ordered a lovely diverse bouquet with lots of variety. What was delivered was a bunch of purple daisy like flowers and a pink rose. The person who received them was happy, which is what matters, but I'm a little shocked at how different th bouquet is

NEVER ORDER BLOOMEX

I made the mistake of ordering gift baskets for two of my loyal customers from Bloomex for Christmas. I paid $180 each and received baskets that looked like they were wrapped by a 10-year-old. When I complained, I received no response, and the only resolution offered was a $20 credit. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I will never order from this company again

I will never use Bloomex Canada again...

I will never use Bloomex Canada again and should have known better this time.

I ordered a Birthday Bouquet to be delivered for the day of the birthday. It became apparent they were not going to arrive so I had to replace the gift with something else at my own expense. Customer service if you want to call it that wouldn't provide compensation because they had not been delivered yet. Escalated to a supervisor who would contact me within 24 hours. They did not. Customer service this time disconnected many times before I was told compensation couldn't be provided because the flowers had been delivered. When I didn't accept a store credit I was disconnected multiple more time before the chat agents stopped responding altogether and I called.
When I called I was told they would place an escalation and someone would get back to me I said I wanted to speak to someone right away. I was put on a lengthy hold and told a supervisor could not come to the phone to take the call and someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I have a sneaking suspicion that won't happen either.

Garbage

Garbage! Pure garbage!! Don’t buy! Terrible customer service. Picking from a compost bin is more of a gift than what I purchased for a friend. How embarrassing!😳

Did not order what I paid for.

I ordered flowers, they delivered cookies and chocolates instead… They weren’t even good. They said it was too cold to deliver the flowers and yet they offer them for sale in a season that is too cold to deliver them. They didn’t even confirm with me if the switch was okay… They said they didn’t need to as it was in their policy (fine print) that they could decide for us. So if you want flowers, go to a florist that will deliver what you want them to deliver. If you want cookies and chocolates, go to a grocery store.

The absolute WORST experience I've EVER…

The absolute WORST experience I've EVER had with an order. Not only was the promised delivery date of "next day" not fulfilled, there was NO response from Customer Service after 4 attempts at contact. 12 days later and the flowers were STILL NOT DELIVERED AS PROMISED!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS OR SERVICE !!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I want to give 0 stars but trust pilot won't allow it.
I ordered a $94 bouquet for a friend's 100th birthday + $15 delivery.
I did not expect the exact bouquet as advertised on the Bloomex website as flowers are seasonal but I did expect a similar size.
What was delivered were 10 roses, a cheap Bloomex Teddy and a pack of biscuits, neither of which I ordered.
When I complained they offered me a $45 store credit, I won't shop with them ever again so useless to me.
What I requested was them to send the bouquet I ordered.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT

Avoid Bloomex at all costs!

Bloomex is hands down one of the worst online ordering experiences I’ve ever had.
They have now failed FOUR orders in a row. This is not bad luck — this is pure incompetence.
Three times, after I placed my order, I was told that the flowers I selected were not available, even though their website gives zero warning about stock issues or substitutions. If you can’t deliver what you sell, don’t list it. Simple.
The latest order was the final straw. I ordered a bouquet with wine and truffles, paid for everything, and the recipient received NO wine, NO truffles, just an empty glass and a bouquet that looks nothing like what I ordered. That’s not a mistake — that’s charging for items you don’t deliver.
To make things worse, I deliberately tried to avoid Bloomex by ordering from another flower shop, only to later discover it was just another Bloomex sub-brand. Same company, same failures.
Flowers are usually ordered for meaningful moments. Bloomex treats them like disposable transactions. No quality control, no honesty, no accountability.
Save yourself the frustration, embarrassment, and wasted money. Do not order from Bloomex.

Extremely disappointed!

I will never use this company again. I placed an order for January 10. On January 10 I received an email to say that my flowers could only be delivered January 13. Well that doesn’t work for me. I reached out and was told only a credit or a delivery was possible. Not a refund. I am beyond irritated and am waiting on a response to my latest email to them. Do not use this company!

Terrible service, Worse Product

Sister-in-law going through chemotherapy, I thought it would be lovely to send flowers to cheer her up. On the third occasion (having overcome their embarrassment) they confessed that all three deliveries (Purolator) were godawful, and one was late. They took pictures: Broken, squished, absolutely pathetic specimens. I was devastated... Not to mention financially put out! The Cheesecake Factory cheesecake they offer was more factory than cheesecake. I'd have been better off going to a supermarket and buying a cheap bouquet.
I've written to 2 different customer service emails to express my disgust and have had zero response. Just an elaborate scam. Shame on them.

The most appalling service DO NOT ORDER…

The most appalling service DO NOT purchase anything from Bloomex au - delivery was a week after Christmas, flowers were dead, they delivered a $4 cheap bottle of wine not the $30
Wolf Blass ordered nor the expensive chocolates some cheap ones with leaky yuk over them. They offered to resend 6th Jan so i gave them a chance to redeem themselves but NO delivery received at all - my family received NOTHING! They are refusing to refund $110 spend instead offered $20 credit on their site which is worthless as i will NEVER order from Bloomex again and advise you not to waste your money either - appalling thieving lying incompetent service and company.

The worst I have ever seen in product

The worst I have ever seen in product, delivery, and mostly customer service. What I order for a beautiful christmas arrangement came as something you would dig out of your garden and throw out. Dead roses that were pink and yellow..... not one christmas connection in the entire thing. DO NOT waste your money using this company!

Would rate zero if I could.

Was supposed to be delivered Dec 24. Just arrived today, Jan 7. They’re completely dead and brown. I wish I could add a picture. I used the chat twice, two emails and 4 phone calls and still haven’t been able to get a refund. Not to mention, the recipient isn’t even in town anymore (the neighbor accepted the delivery from Purolator) over $100 for dead disgusting flowers. You could 100% find nicer flowers in a dumpster.

We contacted Bloomax on December 15 to have a Christmas flower arrangement sent to my Mother in Gibsons, B.C. for the 19th. No problem, right, it's a local company (says the advertisement) right?? Too much went wrong, from spending 4 phone calls later only to be told that the "arrangement" we chose would not make the 2 day delivery drive. So they would give us an "upgrade" plus a box of chocolates. They said. "No" they said they would not accept a cancellation and reimburse us for not being able to even deliver the arrangement till after Christmas.

Well, the "arrangement" got delivered yesterday, January 6th. It was found by a neighbor on the back porch around 3pm. The lovely neighbor help her unwrap the flowers (not the arrangement). The box of chocolates was a plain skinny dollar store chocolate bar!!

No words can describe our disappointment!! BUYER BE WARE!!!

Never again bloomex

Never again bloomex. My order was made December 23, for delivery Dec 24. It did not get delivered that day. I attempted to reach them via phone and email and could not. They were open and doing business but I understand they just ignored my request and would have continued ignoring it had I not asked the person receiving the delivery to get involved. Bloomex Halifax has lost a customer for life and I will let as many people know my story as possible. Their blatant disregard for a customer who had already paid is shocking. The delivery was finally made January 6 only because a local person got involved. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. Buyer beware if you do not live in Halifax!!
