Faulty product, poor customer service

I purchased the combined travel charger and power bank. Like others this took a while to arrive from China but all seemed fine on arrival. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks it became clear that the product was faulty. When being used as a charger it kept cutting out meaning that devices took ages to charge. Then when being used as a power bank it became very hot. When I tried to return it I was given the run around by the ‘5 star customer service’ who kept putting barriers in the way such as requiring a video of the fault. As things stand they are still refusing a refund despite being required to do so under my local consumer protection laws. For the price charged for an apparently premium product I would have expected better.

Outstanding Customer Service!

I am so impressed with the customer service at Bluebolt chargers! They answered my question, solved a problem with the order I made, reversed my mistake and all in record time with just an email! Saved me time and a headache! So appreciated the personal and efficient communication.

Unfit for purpose and poor customer service

I purchased the Blue Bolt TravelBank 5-in-1 Wall Charger and Power Bank, marketed as a premium product. Unfortunately, it stopped working properly within the first year despite only occasional use and being stored under the same conditions as my much cheaper chargers, which continue to perform perfectly.

Customer service has been polite but unhelpful, repeatedly offering only a replacement at my expense even though the product clearly wasn’t fit for purpose. It’s disappointing that a company selling “premium” devices is unwilling to stand by its own product within a year of purchase.

I’ve now referred this matter to Trading Standards for review under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as I believe the product does not meet the standards of satisfactory quality or fitness for purpose.

I wouldn’t recommend this brand based on my experience.

Most of the 5 star reviews are from "anonymous" which is extremely suspect.

I've ordered a charger and waited almost a month. Whenever I reach out, the response is always "it's on it's way", with no real update on where the product is.

I ordered a screen protector for my boyfriend. The carrier that delivered it was uniuni. Packaged showed up smashed. We notified this company and told them to make a complaint towards uniuni or if someone from their company did that. Theres 0 excuses for a package to show up super damaged. People need to take accountability.

Also not happy with this company because they ignored my boyfriends last email to them. They sent him a link to do a exchange/refund and the refund amount hed get back shows less than what he paid when he bought it for some reason. He should get back the exact amount he paid.

Will never purchase from this company due to poor experience with shipping and customer service.

Manipulative techniques used

The two laptop stands were of good quality, but different to how I wanted them. When they arrived the seals were already broken on both boxes - even though I explained this they still wouldn't accept a return and in the end only agreed to a 40% voucher. My negative scoring is due to their lack of honesty, making it impossible for people to return items even when they haven't opened them themselves (they'd be more honest if they just stated that they don't accept returns).

Product did not work

Product did not work. Bluebolt did everything possible to avoid refund/replacement.

Likely to be Alibaba products that are marked up and distributed (which would explain the avoidance of addressing consumer issues). Note the product box has a brand but the product itself is not branded.

A great charger which is a little different from the rest

It's a very nice charger with a good strong magnet so no fear of my phone falling off. We also charge another phone on the base plate at the same time so it's very convenient. The lights are a nice touch but it would be nice to be able to set them to one colour, or if you turn them off they stay off (they come on every time you put your phone on to charge).

It’s not bad

It took me a while to try this charger. Didn’t really believe in it. Then, I tried it. It’s very impressive. It’s different from a bulky battery pack a wire that u have to carry. Keeps it simple and ur phone charged. When, u need it to be.

Great Quality and Perfect Fit

I’m happy with the BlueBolt phone case. The quality is great, it feels premium and fits my phone perfectly. It’s also unique and has a nice individual touch. The only downside was that the shipping took a bit longer than expected — but overall, recommended!

Good luck trying to return unopened merchandise

The return process is abhorrent. Do not buy anything from this garbage company. They will make you send about 6 emails just to try and return a product. Along with taking everything out of an unopened box and take pictures. They try to make it impossible to return anything. That alone should tell you they don’t stand behind ANY of their products if returns are this difficult. Stay far far away from this company. Most likely a scam company of sorts.

Poor customer service …

The three in one charger they shipped me only works with with my iPhone. It works for a few minutes with my Apple Watch, but then it turns off and stops charging. When trying multiple plugs, it still has the same effect.
Getting Customer Service to allow me to print a return label is exhausting. They approved my return for a faulty device; but won’t provide a shipping address. This shouldn’t be that hard.
