Great communication

I met him over a decade ago when he was just a guest on one of my surf trips. Fast forward to now and he’s running the surf show at Blue Ocean Maldives with nothing but respect for the culture, the waves, and the people. I’ve seen a few of their trips up close and I can say this straight — he’s doing a damn good job.

Professional, grounded, and always keeping it real. Exactly what the Maldives surf scene needs more of. Stoked to see how far he’s come. Keep pushing brother.

If you are looking for a surf trip to Maldives, this is your place. We went to hudhuranfushi resort and it was fantastic. From the beggining Dany was really helpfull supporting us since day one. He gave us all the information that we need, and made easier and better the holidays. Professional and passionate about his work, you only will worry about the next time you come back.

Dany was amazing, responsive, friendly, supportive and super passionate about surfing, which I loved! Would definitely do it again but next time pick better month to surf. Hope they can guide me better with surfing better waves on season next time 🤙🏾😁

There was so much about this trip that was amazing - The staff really thought of every little detail and the guides were fun and knowledgeable and always made sure we had the best waves available. The food was healthy and five star, we had fresh fish everyday that had been caught just that morning. There wasn't a single thing we had to worry about except making sure our board had enough wax and that we reapplied our sunscreen before we went out to surf. I woke up early and meditated and stretched before our sunrise surf sessions. The Surf Coach pointed out every little tweak and adjustment we can make to improve our surfing. And made us smile and laugh in the process. The photography was top-notch and made me feel and look like a pro even though I'm very far from it. There's nothing I would change about the people or the trip. Even the other guests were high quality beautiful human beings. My only request is that I could just live in that world forever.

Blue Ocean- Danny and team, created an experience that will forever be etched in my memory. We had 360 views of the ocean from our living quarters, to which the Captain navigated the journey like a true professional…absolutely flawless. Meals were prepared with care, and sooo delicious! Fresh caught fish , veggies and fruit was served daily. The meals made up the perfect Macronutrients to supplement our daily surf activities. Our local guides knew exactly when and where the swell would hit, and were able to help us score uncrowded waves throughout the trip. They would provide us with tips prior to paddling out - and had amazing knowledge and waterman skills. We had our very own surf coach Carlos…who gave us daily instruction through video analysis. He even went above and beyond by leading us through surf specific mobility warm-ups and cool downs. Through his brilliant instruction and mentorship , EVERYONE on the trip improved their surfing! EVERYONE! And the best is part if the trip is yet to come…as the people and the atmosphere is what made this trip epic. Danny and his team brought such wonderful energy…it was contagious. Our group started out as strangers, and ended as true friends. A new network of beautiful souls, sharing their passion in paradise. This truly has been an experience of a lifetime . Thank you Blue Ocean !!!!! See you next season !

Blue Ocean Maldives exceeded all expectations with communication (prior to, during, and after dream trip), food, service, friendship, and all around good vibes. The surf guides were top notch and kept us on best surf available along with tips on line ups. The cleanliness of the boat and service of the rooms were 5 star and I slept comfortably in AC with remote control. The food was excellent and the chef cooked up fresh catch of the day and sashimi. The surf analysis and coaching are amazingly effective for progressing your surfing, new tips could be applied next surf session. Not only could we apply tips from the surf coach but you could try a different DHD demo board to help put you on the right equipment for your surfing level or conditions. This trip was much more then surfing, we laughed, we learned, we snorkeled, we explored, and we became friends. I’ve never had so many different activities packed into one vacation and it was affordable. It truly was a dream trip!!!

I've been in a Maldives trip with Blue Ocean and my experience couldn't be better. The crew was helpful and informative since long before trip and after I got there, things were even better: great food, comfortable rooms, awesome activities, amazing staff, best surf guides ever and everything I need for one of the best vacations of my life. I really recommend Blue Ocean to everyone looking for a trustworthy company that can help you realize the dream of going to the Maldives.

The whole trip was amazing. Great organisation, the crew and guides were very helpful and available. The beat, the scenery, the surf, all was great.
I went by myself, and joined a group of people who I can call now my friends.

We can not recommend this company. We went on a surf trip to the Maldives with Blue Ocean Maldives and they fooled us. Halfway through the trip, their own guide told us that where the boat was going there were no waves and that the only option was to return to the starting point. The organization did not want to change route and we suffered the consequences. In a 10 days surftrip we couldn't surf for 4 days. The worst thing is that they lied to us about the forecast and we found out in their own publications on social media that wasn't true.
So disappointed

Everything from booking and payment, to pre-departure communication and then the trip itself was flawlessly organized. They got the best and most knowledgable guides for us who would soon also become good friends with us. Great times, good laughs, amazing waves. The yacht Mariana is also an excellent, comfortable and spacious vessel which comes with crew that are all great and very experienced. These guys sure know how to put together an excellent surf trip and we are already talking about booking next year again

Had an awesome surfing trip! Everything was well-organized and the crew was super cool. Waves were fantastic and the overall atmosphere super friendly. Highly recommend for a memorable adventure!
