I loved the study plan feature and the way that I could sync my study plan to Google Calendar. I additionally found the practice tests/Q-banks, explanations, and metrics to be extremely helpful. However, in the books and in some of the video lectures, I found several typos. Some of the typos in the books changed the meaning of the material.

I found the Blueprint books very concise and helpful when reviewing content. Working with my tutor also provided great 1:1 time to get specific questions answer or to go over general weak spots. The multiple practice tests available also helped with pacing practice and revealed the topics I needed to review.

I began this process with a foundational knowledge of MCAT materials thanks to a 6 week bootcamp offered by another company. I had planned to take the MCAT after that bootcamp but mistakes were made and I ended up having to wait 3 months to take the test for the first time. I was worried about losing content and information during those 3 months, and so I hired a tutor. Working with Ricky helped me fill in any content gaps, as well as deepen my understanding of concepts I had already thought I mastered. Ricky is not the type of tutor to sugar coat anything, if he thought there was a problem there was no way it was going to be swept under the rug or rationalized away. For some that might be challenging to work with, however, as someone who was aware of their weaknesses, I enjoyed the bluntness and took full advantage of his honesty to better myself. Ricky excelled when it came to breaking concepts down to their bare bones, and any concept we approached we did so with a ground up mentality. This was great when it came to dissecting exactly why something behaved a certain way, and it made building a sturdy understanding of concepts possible.

Blueprint helped me achieve a 97th percentile score after starting out sub 500 on my practice tests. With the tutoring package, they give you access to online modules with great animations/videos and Blueprint textbooks. It's unlikely your tutor will know everything, but what's important is that they are great at helping you develop your own skills to help you be successful. Thea Lance was a great tutor and went above and beyond to help me! I highly recommend this program!

The material provided by Blueprint was thorough and useful in the MCAT studying. In some ways, I found the MCAT practice exams and practice passages to be a bit harder than the actual AAMC MCAT. The videos that were provided on the website were helpful in some ways but I found the CARS to be a bit lacking. I also found the CARS on practice exams to be different in feeling and reasoning than the AAMC CARS.

In terms of the tutor, Emily Xu was great! She always put her best foot forward in tutoring and helped in so many ways. Her expertise helped me in all of the sections. She made sure to be available to my schedule and when something did not work she would research new ways to help approach me. I always struggled with CARS and we tried different techniques to help me. In a lot of ways she helped me be confident in my exam and score. I needed only 1 more point in CARS for my actual exam. Nevertheless, Emily helped me in all the sections and it was great! The schedule she created worked for me. I would recommend Emily to other students as well. She made sure to establish a student-tutor relationship, so I felt comfortable talking about low points and high points in my studies. Emily was also always reachable and made communication easy. Overall, Emily is a great tutor and Blueprint is lucky to have her!

I had the pleasure of having Michael as my tutor through taking my third MCAT. I self-studied for my first two exams and Michael helped me improve by 14 points for my third. He was not only prompt and well organized, but also very nice and incredibly intelligent. His help included but was not limited to teaching me how to approach problems in a variety of ways, working with me to improve my test taking strategies, and helping me gain a deeper understanding of all topics we worked on. His passion, calming presence and vast knowledge were invaluable to me in my studies and I would recommend Michael to anyone taking the MCAT, I could not have done it without him!

I took the MCAT three times prior to using Blueprint. Seriously. And after going through their modules and receiving tutoring from Eli, I scored HIGHER than my target score. Trust the process!

Fantastic program!
This was such a great fit, and my tutor Brock did a phenomenal job of pushing me to succeed and challenging me to reach my potential. Over winter break (less than 2 months) I was able to increase my score over 10 points on my MCAT exam. This platform is very flexible with your own schedule, but still holds you accountable to put in work because it all pays off.

I was a MCAT re-taker when I came to NextStep/Blueprint. I had originally scored well below my target score but with the help of Nextstep products and specifically my tutor Dorothy I was able to raise my score by 15 points. The resources were very helpful but I think what I found to really make a difference was the quality tutoring Dorothy gave me. She was incredibly competent and well versed with the material, very patient and explained difficult concepts well! Highly highly recommend her as a tutor!!

The Blueprint MCAT resources are exceptional! For me, the most useful part was the adjustable calendar. Before using Blueprint, I had the Kaplan and Princeton prep books and it was difficult to self study with 10 books to read and not knowing what to do, when. With the adjustable calendar, studying was less overwhelming. Additionally, the question bank and test bank were so similar to the actual thing that I felt fully prepared for the MCAT. In addition to those resources and content review, my tutor Brock directly guided me to making a mindset change when approaching questions that improved my score 10+ points.

I absolutely love Blueprint! The practice questions are incredibly representative of the style and content of the actual MCAT. The explanations of why the answers to the practice questions are right or wrong made so much sense and explained exactly what I needed them to explain. It really made such an uncertain process feel much more normal and easy to understand.

Got a 522 on AAMC FL 1, after taking NS FL 1 I increased to a 526 on FL3!

I am so happy I went with Blueprint for my MCAT prep! I had tried other companies in the past and found that they didn't give students the attention and dedication needed to excel. Eli was an incredible one-on-one tutor! He helped me form a balanced study plan and kept my spirits up during this arduous process. The online office hours were another amazing resource. Definitely go with Blueprint for your MCAT prep!!!

I was so happy with my decision to prepare with Blueprint. Their content review modules were thorough and provided more than enough information to be successful in that respective subject area. The Blueprint generated study schedule was put together perfectly with modules building on top of each other in succession leaving no gaps in content knowledge. The practice FL exams were difficult, but incredibly valuable. I liked this aspect because they made the AAMC FLs and practice questions feel a lot easier. I would recommend using additional resources on top of those provided from Blueprint for the psych/soc section. I knew each term that was given in the psych/soc book and still there were terms I had not seen before on FLs. While that is the nature of the section, use of Blueprint's book and other resources allowed me to score a 131 in psych/soc and 514 on the whole exam. All in all I would choose Blueprint one thousand times over given the opportunity.

Michael was excellent. He took a personalized approach and was attentive, meticulous, and, above all, a master of the content. Highly recommend!

I always felt supported by the people that worked at Blueprint Prep and they really understood the needs of students taking the MCAT no matter their background. I had a pretty closed mindset while deciding whether I should retake after my first attempt. I knew that it was a "good enough" score and I didn't know if it was worth it to keep on prepping to improve. After just a few weeks using Blueprint materials, I could see how much more I could improve and it was really due to the fact that Blueprint materials cut out the necessary information and teach in a very *effective* way, not just a rigorous way.

I absolutely LOVE Emily. She is truly the most supportive person and I needed someone like her during my MCAT process. Until I met Emily, I was literally lost in my MCAT prep. I felt overwhelmed and stuck with my score. Emily completely changed the way I looked at my MCAT prep. Her amazing organizational skills and fast responses are only the beginnings of what make her such a great tutor. She is patient, encouraging and realistic. I never felt like I was judged by her and I felt like I had a confidant who made my life easier during such a grueling journey! I am patiently waiting for my score to be released, and in any case that I would have to take the MCAT again I would go back to working with Emily in a heartbeat! Every minute of MCAT prep with her was worth it.

I had a great experience with Blueprint prep. I was seeking one-on-one help with CARS as well as chemistry/physics and Blueprint gave me exactly what I needed. When I chose to postpone my exam, I was able to carry over my remaining hours, and both Emily and Jack were very communicative and always prepared for my sessions. They answered my questions patiently and catered to my learning style. I would not have been able to do it without them!
