I published my book with BlueRose, and the experience was good overall. The process was well-structured, timelines were communicated clearly, and the team supported me at each stage of the publishing process. If you’re a new author looking to get your book published, BlueRose is a good option.

As an author with five published titles, I approached BlueRose Publishers with optimism, impressed by the vision of their founder and the supportive first interaction I had with their representative, Ms. Sara. However, my overall experience soon shifted from enthusiasm to disappointment due to several operational and communication issues that remained unresolved despite multiple attempts at dialogue.

From the very beginning, the tone of communication with the backend team felt more transactional than collaborative. Their heavy reliance on penalty-based policies, like ₹1500+GST for manuscript revisions, showed little flexibility or understanding toward the creative process. Despite repeated communication, their responses often felt templated and failed to offer clear or satisfactory solutions.

What was most disheartening was the lack of consistency in support—while one representative promised WhatsApp coordination (a basic request for me being outside India), another claimed they were “not authorized” to use it. These contradictions eroded trust and made me feel less like a valued author and more like a client navigating corporate bureaucracy.

Despite my attempts to escalate matters respectfully, including offering constructive feedback and requesting refund clarity, I received delayed, vague, or repetitive responses that avoided directly addressing my core concerns.

Eventually, I had to formally withdraw from the publishing process and request a full refund. As of writing this, I am still awaiting confirmation of the refund despite repeated follow-ups.

❗Final Thoughts:

BlueRose may work well for first-time authors looking for structure, but in my view, their process lacks empathy, flexibility, and transparency, especially for experienced writers. I sincerely hope they reflect on this feedback and evolve toward a more author-first approach, in both policy and spirit.

Dear Team Blue Rose,
Inspite of my regular follow-ups, I have not received any sales update mail since 30th July. The last data shared was only till 28th July, whereas today is 9th September.

Frankly, I fail to understand why there has been no update for over a month. This reflects a very poor post-publication activity and raises concerns about the seriousness towards authors.

Timely and transparent sales reporting is the minimum expectation from a publishing partner. I strongly urge you to take this matter seriously and improve your reporting mechanism at the earliest.

Please share the pending sales updates immediately.

Blue Rose have very good team member for formatting and cover design.
They quickly identify what you want in cover design and formatting by asking you few questions.
I am really impressed by skill they have for book publishing.
I have published my 3rd book with them and I love it by it by their work.

Most horrible experience from day 1 onwards. Please don’t publish with these unprofessionals. They keep pestering for payment but once you pay they do nothing that is promised. I don’t have an author dashboard. I don’t know how my book is fairing. I don’t even have an authors copy to check. It’s been 2 months since they promised me 2 free authors copies of my book after making me pay 9500 Rs ( I did all the formatting, editing and everything else of my book. It was a print ready book). I don’t even know how my book looks like after printing. They have delivered my authors copies to someone else named Kailas in Mumbai. I live in Kerala and they have my phone number and name to cross check. Very irresponsible and unresponsive people. Please don’t trust these scammers who don’t do anything that they promise. These people are not genuine publishers and are interested only in sucking up your purse.

Marketing service is not at all good. The marketing team and onboarding team is just not professional. They do not cordinate.
