I was contacted through Autotrader and asked to get a BMRR report. I bought the basic and was then asked to buy the Premium. Although I was starting to get suspicious, I went ahead, thinking it could serve me well anyway.
This party then disappeared. His messages looked like AI and I'm sure this was fraudulent.
Added to that, BMRR do not have an upgrade scheme so I had to pay for two reports, totalling £90. The Premium report is identical to the Basic except for more detail in the MOT history.
Not to be trusted so don't use this company

This appears to be a scam targeting sellers on Autotrader. The pattern is consistent: an individual or group poses as genuine buyers, builds rapport, then insists that the seller purchases a vehicle check from bmrr.co.uk as a condition of proceeding. Once the check is bought, they disappear.

A ’keen’ expresses interest to buy a vehicle but asked for a vehicle report from this website. After you’ve paid the buyer disappears.
