Easy to follow instructions and very convenient.

The course was well laid out and easy to follow along. The videos were helpful and I like how there was a quiz at the end of each section; it helped give he an idea of how the exam was going to be.

I just did a quick google search for a boaters cert class I found boat-Ed. After a couple days of looking up requirements to make sure it covers the requirements I signed up. I’m really glad I did too. The information was easy to read, being able to stop and start at my leisure was wonderful and the tests weren’t overly difficult.

I thought this was a very good course overall. I’m a person who has zero boating experience and this course provided what I thought to be a fairly extensive outline on boating safety. I thought there could have been more about boat operations, docking, mooring etc. I would have given this 5 stars but I’m going on 5 weeks since completion of this course and still haven’t received my PCOC in the mail. That being said they do issue a temporary printable card upon completion.

so apparent in the coarse outline which threw me off a little. In all it was good refresher coarse and I am overall pleased since it is more important to retain the boat safety and ingrain it into people and I think the coarse does a good job of that.

I think it was a little long but the fact some people don’t have much common sense I believe was justified.

The online class was easy to navigate. It took a bit longer than I expected but there’s a lot of information. The chapters and information were arranged very well.

The course was comprehensive and used several methods to deliver the material so it was never boring. I found the animated videos of the boat driving scenarios particularly helpful. I also appreciated that the course covered rules for different classes of boats.

The video series was fantastic and clearly made important points in an amusing way which made the learning enjoyable.

I row and coach crew, so my only suggestion would be to mention the rules for motorized boats, PWC and sail boats in relation to rowing boats.

This is a really well organized training that covers all of the necessary information to keep boaters safe. It’s long enough that trainees have to really commit to the material and will feel totally prepared to do the right thing on the water. Thank you for a great and informative course!

I had a great experience and all information was very helpful

Very good program. I like how you can do it at your own pace and it remembers where you left off. The videos and animations very practical and easy to understand. The only slight complaint would be in the couple multiple choice cut always. If you are doing the course on a mobile phone, all of the choices are not able to fit on the screen no matter how you orientate the device.

The boaters certification was most helpful and straight forward. During the process the program allows for comments, questions and input! The program even allows the student to review and quiz test after each unit. I personally found myself reviewing the material in my head during my boating experiences on the water and passing bodies of water, especially at the ocean!

The course was well designed and requires that the student actively read and watch the presentation in order to pass.

The website has technical issue that prevent me from taking the exam. Without the exam and certificate, my $79 has been wasted. This is day 3 since I requested help, but no one seems to be working the help desk. (The course itself was very well done, but this is useless if users cannot access help or take the exam for certification.)
