Really poor customer service. Won’t fully refund a faulty boat, won’t pay for return postage even those consumer rights law 2015 states they should. They get round it by saying it’s mentioned in their terms and conditions when you buy a boat.
The boat was used once and from the off it wasn’t right two major faults. Avoid this company and look else where!
Brought Vulcan Pro and wish I didn't, water comes in through the hoppers so will not be able to use pva bags or liquids on bait. The remote is quite heavy with sonar on and sonar is very basic. Watch all videos and they say nothing about water coming through the hoppers and will not take boat back after one try to see if all working in water with no bait in for around ten minutes.
I ordered spare parts for my bait boat. I was surprised at how quickly it arrived. Although when it was delivered the bag had spilt and a part was missing. I called and spoke Ann. I was asked to send a few pictures. Sent them by what’s app which was great. Ann dealt with the issue amazingly. Ann then sent out the missing part and I received it the next day. Excellent services. I will Definitely be using Boatman Uk in the future. Thank you for a great service. Alexis
Poor service emailed and phoned, never get a reply regarding batterys, i chose this company for the service, its quite piss poor.
Used my new Vulcan 15 times. At 60 yards. Only fish 4 months a year. The left battery dies while the right battery is full. So just zig zags. Unusable unless I spend £120 on new battery's.
Battery out of warranty. So it will go in the skip. I'm not paying for new batteries every year. My sons ridge monkey has been going 3 years no trouble. New batteries.
And that's the answer from boatman. All I can say is. No way would I but one. Knowing what I know now.
The most rude people I have come across in a long time. I would recommend you to avoid this company after my own experience and reading others reviews of them.
Would just like to say how good Boatman UK have been with replacing a battery for me that died.
Even after Royal Mail lost the faulty one I was sending back, they still sent me a replacement. Fantastic service
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, they are so rude, there products are awful wish I had seen the review before buying there bait boat
What an absolutely awful company this is. I bought a bait boat for my son 10 months ago, and now the remote has stopped working. The only way I can get you to work is to keep plugging a power back into it. Tried contacting this company who have refused to help me and just told me that the remote can't be charged by a power pack, which I find absolutely bizarre, as when you're fishing out on the bank, you're not exactly going to have something you can plug into the wall. Avoid these bait boats at all cost as you'll end up out of pocket and with awful customer service
