Martin and team have made this entire process of buying my first large boat effortlessly. He has gone out and beyond what I was hoping for. We are working towards our completion within the next few days.

We started our yacht search from Australia and had an insightful initial call with Martin. Even before we formally engaged him, he highlighted key aspects of the boat buying process that we hadn’t considered — his knowledge was evident from the outset.
Once engaged, Martin travelled to France, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Montenegro to inspect shortlisted boats on our behalf. He provided detailed reports, videos, and photos for each vessel, saving us huge amounts of time, hassle, and cost. While we covered his time and travel expenses, it was still far more efficient than doing the trips ourselves. We would have been paying for two lots of airfares etc , which is quite a cost.
Martin is also an excellent negotiator. One boat we were considering dropped from €575,000 to €490,000 thanks to his efforts. Although we ultimately bought a different yacht, he again secured a substantial discount. Just as importantly, he handled all broker communications, sparing us endless emails and calls.
He’s now supporting us through the survey and sale process, offering helpful recommendations and continuing to manage the details with care and experience.
This was a significant purchase for us, and we can confidently say that working with Martin gave us clarity, confidence, and real value for money. Highly recommended for anyone buying a boat in Europe — especially if you’re overseas.

Martin was and still is someone whp makes you feel totally at ease amd feel completely knowledgeable at every stage of the sometimes complicated process. As a new boat owner and someone who is also making their first big purchase, he explained and simplified everything for me, giving me the confidence to move foward.

As a family we have sold two canal barges through Go Earth, a narrow beam in 2023,
and a wide beam in 2025. The latter in a very difficult market. Throughout the process Martin and his team were extremely professional and their advice was essential. I thoroughly recommend them.

Martin from Go Earth was absolutely brilliant. from the start to the finish. He was so professional and probably the best serviice I have got from any company or organiasation in 25 years of doing business. From the very start they helped me on choosing a boat. He guided me through all the pit fall. I cannot speak highly enough of Martin. In short buying aboat is a big step and you would be nuts not to use his experience and knowledge. He also helped us with financing the boat, making sure the boat was sea worthey. they worked with me in ireland, uk , greece and croatia. He was so professional and helped me with all the documents. Martin was great with his intro to all you want to know about owning a bost snf getting it from a to be but were afraid to ask gave me a small insight into the labyrinth of the boat buying fiasco which i will definitely use him for a mine of information thanks for your time and effort

Don’t ever use go earth or having anything to do with a person called Martin Berman!!
From my own experience please stay well clear of them!!

I’d like to say a big “thank you” to Martin Berman of Boatsearch for being so consistently helpful and patient while dealing with all my ‘novice’ questions. First-time boat buying is a daunting experience - but perfectly doable with professional knowledge and experience. I would definitely recommend Martin and his company to you.

Contacted Martin a couple of years ago as searching Yachtworld and all the other sites just wasn't working. Multiple agents for one yacht not returning emails ,yachts sold years before and still advertised :-( One of the many problems I presented to Martin was ,not knowing what I actually wanted ,not having the budget for the ones I liked, and not having a clue about buying a yacht. Quite frankly I cannot thank him and his staff enough, their knowledge was absolutely invaluable .Without them I dread to think what I would have ended up with ,Two yachts didn't exist and another was an absolute conn. I've seen people presuming that the cost would be high on Go Earth's Facebook page ,well personally they are worth every penny. We ended up with a 2010 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50DS and are now starting our adventure, Thankyou

Martin has assisted me twice in the purchase of two boats over the last few years. He has helped to select the right boat (with excellent general boating advice) and also helped to buy the boats at a good price. He has also assisted with boat transportation on both occasions. I found myself going through site after site looking for a boat having just got into boating for the first time in 2021. I was looking for a larger boat when one of these pop up’s jumped onto my phone. I’m a real sceptic but put my details in wondering if it was a big mistake, I got a call the next day and an appointment was made to talk to Martin. I’ve had my own buisiness most of my working life and have a policy to go the extra mile for my customers, it’s been very rare that I found a buisiness that goes out of their way but genuinely Go Earth has met all of my expectations in every way through the transaction. We cannot speak too highly of the advice and support we have enjoyed from Go Earth since 2018. They sourced a fine Bayliner Sports cruiser which they relocated to Greece. Three years later, during the pandemic our access was so limited we decide to sell her. Go Earth again helped with speed and efficiency getting the full asking price. They also completed all paperwork for the sale and arranged transport to the buyer. Communication with one director of this 20 man team has been unfailingly prompt, efficient and friendly.
His advice has always been sound and both buying and selling are exercises we could not accomplish alone!
