I was excited, possibly too much so. Everyone’s taste buds are different. I found the taste underwhelming to the point where I found the aftertaste unpleasant almost “tinny”.
I believe that the branding and marketing outstrip the actual product - sparkling water with some natural flavour and 4% alcohol. I had hoped the hard seltzer phenomenon would translate into an Australian business opportunity. I think it’s an American type product which has the air of a ‘fad’ about it.
My suggestion would be to build the brand for a couple of years and sell the company to a major like your proposed Australian distributor CocaCola Amatil - as they have done before.

Sparkling & Refreshing
Bodega Bay drinks are definitely refreshing and with 73 calories you can definitely keep them counting when you are drinking! Alcoholic content was 4% but enough to get me into happy mood with the 2 cans ! I liked both the flavours, the apple ginger was fresh , not overpowering , Eldeflower one had a flower like taste but none of them were too sweet!
Also customer service was quick to reply to my query which is always a good sign!
