I had a disappointing experience with Body Clinic. I ordered Wegovy, but instead received Ozempic without any prior notice or approval.
When I contacted them, I was told there is “no difference” between the two, which is not the point — I should have been informed and given the choice before receiving a different medication.
I also found their customer service lacking. My concerns were not handled respectfully, and I had to push just to get the issue escalated.
The product is still unopened and stored properly, but I am now left dealing with a situation that could have easily been avoided with better communication and professionalism.
Overall, not a great experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
First of all, we understand that you were surprised to receive Ozempic when you had ordered Wegovy. We understand that this may raise questions and that you would have preferred to be informed beforehand.
Because Wegovy and Ozempic contain the same active ingredient (semaglutide) and are used within the same treatment protocol, we do not normally notify patients separately when a switch is made between these two products. From a medical perspective, there is no difference in the active ingredient.
That said, we do regret that when you contacted us about this, it was not clearly explained to you. We understand that this may have caused confusion and frustration.
Regarding medication availability, we are dependent on what our pharmaceutical supplier is able to provide. When a specific product is temporarily unavailable, an equivalent alternative containing the same active ingredient may be supplied to ensure that treatment can continue without interruption.
That does not take away from the fact that we understand you would have appreciated more explanation. We take your feedback seriously and will discuss it internally to further improve our communication.
