Absolute dream of a job.

The team were totally professional while being super friendly, endlessly helpful and never far from the phone.
My complicated job came in on budget & ahead of schedule, and I actually think the place was cleaner when they left than when they arrived...

Can't wait to need them again!

Quick response. As a landlord they were really helpful in explaining the problem and what was needed to repair the boiler and get it up and running again.

Called them up late one evening when our boiler stopped working. They managed to get us back up and running via WhatsApp (amazing), and then came over to diagnose the problem in more detail, which is currently being sorted. They were really good at explaining what was going on, and how they were fixing it. Just an all round superb experience.

Removal of old boiler and new one installed. Period property so included dealing with old crumbling plaster and making safe to hang new boiler, which added to original quote but well-communicated and carried out. Helpful advice given on practical maintenance and operation and reasons new boiler advised in my circumstances. Automatically added to annual service customer reminder list which is helpful!

Simon was great. He gave me a clear and honest evaluation of the problem, and two different options of how he could fix it, with the pros and cons of each. I ended up replacing the boiler and he did a very thorough job, cleaning up after himself at the end of each day and having all the rubbish taken away. It took longer than expected, as it was a bit of an awkward job with the boiler having to be moved, but he stuck to the original quote and even came back on the Saturday morning to finish it off. I would definitely use him again.

Simon recently replaced our old boiler with a combi boiler and a salamander pump while fixing multiple issues with our pipework. Overall, we’re very happy with Simon’s work and would recommend him based on the following.

-The original estimate was reasonable and better than previous quotes. Because of the original boiler and pipework age and position, the job was trickier than most and previous plumbers had told us it would require extensive building work. Simon found a solution quickly, so disruption was kept to a minimum.
- Although we ended up paying more than the original estimate — because of the terrible state of the original plumbing — this was our own choice and Simon was careful to describe what he recommended and gave us options, which was very helpful.
-Simon was efficient, communicative, friendly, honest and knows what he’s doing.

His work deserves five stars but if you have inflexible hours and you need a plumber to turn up precisely when arranged I would recommend that you make this clear when booking the job. Most of the time Simon arrived promptly, but we did have to rearrange our schedule several times. Not an enormous problem for us, but if it is for you, be clear about your availability.

Simon was very professional, personable and honest - he was able to easily diagnose and fix a fault in my boiler and showed me step by step how to prevent it recurring in future. I would definitely recommend him!

Boiler broke down during an already very stressful time. I received an honest opinion (I already an engineer from another company having a look at it and wanted a second opinion). It needed replacement and they gave me an acceptable quote, cheaper than competition. The boiler was changed quickly by a very friendly engineer.
Overall, very happy with how much I paid, the swiftness of the service and quality of the installation. Would definitely use the company again.

As a landlord one of the things I dread is expensive repairs. I was recently told that the tenants had no hot water or heating so I had to act quickly. This also happened during covid-19 so you can imagine how difficult this was for everyone involved. I contacted Boiler Doctor 247 early on a Sunday morning (08:20) and Simon answered the call straight away, and I was pleasantly surprised. We discussed options and I was given helpful advice on what I could do next. We arranged an engineers visit for Monday and by Tuesday the new boiler was supplied and installed. The overall service was fantastic. I had regular contact with Simon throughout the process and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Even though this was a difficult moment for everyone, Boiler Doctor 247 handled it perfectly. Thanks again for making this a smooth and comfortable experience for everyone involved.
